I want to report another similar problem,
when looking to save an icon from a custom block,
the icon is not being updated...
I believe that capturing block icons and block macros is broken.

I am currently grinding the training, going for at least gold, and realized when I am turning left while accelerating, I am unable to brake my car (using spacebar currently). When I am not accelerating, I am able to turn left and brake, but if I brake while not turning and try to turn left, I am unable to, while if I try to turn left while braking after turning right, it somehow keeps me turning right, even though I am pressing the left button. I can't initiate drifts while turning left, and it is generally making the game much harder.

The main reason I bought club access, is to get the default driver back. But it does not work.
I still have the flag colored driver, in solo, ranked, totd, etc.
But I had the default player once, on yesterdays (01/29) Cup of the day. Today, on the same map, on the totd server, I'm back to the flag driver.

Help please.

This bug happens in the editor on an unfinshed map with a CP taken in high speed(lowest speed it occured for me was CP taken at 468kmh). After re-saving, closing the editor and opening it again (game restart doesn't change anything), spawning in this CP with a test mode does't alllow the car to accelerate. Works again after rewriting of the respawn.

For the past 2-3 months I have had an issue in rooms. From club rooms to map review server.
When the map changes I often get the message:

The match was interrupted:
Disconnected from server
Returning to menus.

If I then go and find the map somewhere I can re-enter the room. This happens when joining totd's too. I have to open the map in solo before I can enter the totd qualifying room.

This might not be the biggest issue, but it's especially annoying for me trying to get maps reviewed in map review, as the map I put in never makes it to voting before I get disconnected.
If anyone knows a solution to this I would be happy, or if this can be fixed, I would be even happier 🙂

Hi,
today my game crashed while I was playing ranked and since then I cannot start up the game anymore. The game freeze on a black screen with the loading symbol in the bottom right corner. I can hear sound but nothing is happening. Reinstall and launching again didnt work. I checked drivers. all good. Pls help.

Recently (mainly after the last big update before the season) I have sometimes problems joining servers, especially in COTD.
This happen just now again after qualifier, I was not able to join the KO servers, always getting the "UDP connection failed" message.
When rejoining TA server it woked 1 out of 3 connection attempts, but when trying to rejoin KO server from there it always failed.
This happen already 5 or 6 time since the big december update. I haven't had this problem the 2 years before since I play TM.
IT's not a problem with my internet connection, everythings else and other games work fine, this happens only in TM.

The world record on the campaign track Winter 2023 - 10 by Cal8ute is bugged or hacked I can't tell but the player starts further ahead of the other players.

I will keep it short. I play ice alot, and have encountered this bug and can re-create it every turn.

The problem is that when you either LEFT tab og RIGHT tab (in this ex its left tab), and you want to enter a ice slide it totally messes you up. In the clip i do it normally first and second respawn i do the bug. I keep going back and fourth over the course of the clip.

So this means you cant re-adjust your angle before entering an iceslide. Thats the same thing as doing a quick 'tab' to the left or right before entering a turn on tarmac, dirt, plastic so on and so on, and then your car just takes a nose dive.

Is this intentional? And if it is, please explain the ideology behind it to me.

If not, as a software developer myself, have fun bug-fixing! Cant wait 🙂

When I enter cam3/first person car audio completely cuts out. I have tried reinstalling my game multiple times and switching audio outputs and turning game audio on and off. none of which have worked

When record times are displayed on the left in-game, and any record ghost is visible, there's an option to "Hide PB ghost". This is a separate option to hiding all ghosts, which is done by pressing "G". This option is buggy in a couple of ways.

In these situations, the UI is often buggy, so you need to click "Hide PB ghost" twice to show your PB ghost again.

Developing an editor plugin in maniascript I attempted to use the class CGameItemModel which inherits from CCollector and that has a "Name" member. However, the compiler kept erroring out telling me that Name was not a member of CGameItemModel. I then attempted to downcast to CCollector and I was able to access the "Name" no problem. This is an acceptable work around for me but it's slightly irritating because it creates a compiler warning about my downcast.

Here is a minimal example you can use to reproduce the compile error. Simply switch which line is commented out to see one of them compiles and one does not.

so I was just discovering new seasonal skins and spot an imperfection on them. On all wheels there is a snowflake with TM logo in the center, however on righ back wheel the logo is displayed specularly, no matter on bronze, silver or gold variation. I wonder how many interesting easter eggs like this have you prepared for us in 2023 😉

Hello, so I have a visual bug where my skin on my screen is different than it actually is but I can't change it to anything the skin stays the same. In garage I tried reseting the skin but it is still the same. When I try to change the skin it stays the same so, any advice?

When you cancel ranked queue at same time as the match starts you get put into a match without even knowing it.

No matter what I put in the url field I get the same error "The URL of the XML file is maybe wrong." I also can't update the copper costs on already existing manialinks, since the error shows up even when I don't alter the url.
I've tried this on two separate united accounts. First noticed this a few months ago, but hadn't had a need to edit/create manialinks until now.

I have a broblem where the game starts but starts loading on the first menu and doesnt let me in the game. how do you solve this? i tried different ways. And those witch i tried didn' work.

I opened Ubersoft Connect / Uplay and it automatically downloaded a trackmania update 07 jan 2021, now I can't load any solo tracks. Live seems to work (weird). I get the blue screen for a bit and then back to the campaign page.

I'm on club acess and logged in. Also weird it says there is some wait until the winter campaign comes out even though it should be out already. Not sure if that's a clue or not. I assume it's not?

I haven't made any other updates since last I last played successfully a couple of weeks ago. I did everything that everyone has said has fixed this problem - I uninstalled and reinstalled trackmania, I relaunched and rebooted, I gave trackmania an exception in my antivirus folder, I deleted something under documents --> trackmania, I verified files in Ubersoft Connect.

all icons of macro blocks where i am working disappeared or will disappear...
I'm building macro blocks to speed up map constructions,
this is really simple, building macro blocks with the game's own blocks, bigger macro blocks, you know.
even whole chunks of the race track, simple cuts!!!
the icons no longer appear, now only the names of the saved block macros appear...
I saved it as numbers, but there's a problem...
I have a little over 500 built block macros and I need to save them in the right order because there are so many.
but now it doesn't look like their icons when they are saved...
this is a problem that cannot be ignored.
saving more than 500 new block macros, and not being able to see their icons, to be able to select them, is the big problem to be patched!!!
