Quick Suggestions

  • Sunset News - 30th June 2022

    Greetings Dancers!

We are constantly assessing what’s needed to deliver the best possible online services for Ubisoft players. Winding down the services for some older games with smaller online audiences is a necessary part of this process, as detailed here.

Here’s what that means for Just Dance:

    • Online services for Just Dance 2016, Just Dance 2017, and Just Dance 2018 will be removed on June 30th, 2023. This includes access to Just Dance Unlimited.
    • If you own Just Dance 2016, Just Dance 2017 or Just Dance 2018, please keep this date in mind for future purchase of Just Dance Unlimited, as you will no longer have access as of July 2023.

Thank you for your understanding and your support!
    The Just Dance team

  • Forum Rules

These forums are for the discussion of Ubisoft games, including advice, feedback, and general gameplay talk. Please make sure all posts are civil, respectful, and constructive – this ensures all visitors can enjoy and benefit from these forums, plus we can more easily collect feedback (be it positive or negative) to pass on to Ubisoft game developers.

To this end, there are specific forum rules covering the sort of behavior that is and isn’t acceptable here. While the general guideline of “Treat others as you would wish to be treated” applies, all visitors must also abide by these rules. If you do not do so your post may be moved, locked, or deleted, and may also result in a temporary or permanent ban.

    Online Safety
We strongly recommend you do not arrange to meet anyone from these forums. Always consult a parent or guardian if appropriate or speak to a Community Manager. You should also not give out personal contact details, including real name, phone number, email, or home address. The internet offers numerous social sites that provide blogging, file sharing, and message services and are safer than handing out personal contact information. You may wish to investigate these options if you find the forum Personal Message (PM) function does not meet your needs for setting up clans etc.

    Inappropriate Content
Gamers of all ages are welcome to view these forums. As such, any posts containing; profanity, obscenity, insults, personal attacks, accusations or abusive language will be edited or deleted and will result in a warning or, in severe or persistent cases, a ban from the forum.

This forum also uses a language filter to remove words that we consider inappropriate for use here. Such words will be replaced or censored. Working around this swear filter in any way, including using asterisks or acronyms, is still considered swearing and therefore not permitted. Signatures, avatars, banners, titles, and other images must also follow these rules.

Racial, religious, or sexual slurs are likely to result in immediate banning. Discussion of software piracy in any of its forms is strictly not allowed on these boards. “Piracy” includes links to illegal downloads of games or methods by which to circumvent copy protection mechanisms.

    No Flaming
This includes any kind of personal insult, flame, or intimidation. Responding in kind to a flame message is viewed as equally unacceptable, regardless of who started it. If you believe you are being insulted or otherwise flamed by another poster, please PM forum community staff rather than respond. This applies to both written text and image posting.
There is no need to turn disagreements into heated arguments. Rather than letting these threads become flame wars please agree to disagree or the thread is likely to be locked.

    No Trolling
    This refers to >
     - Creating threads for the sole purpose of causing unrest on the forums, chatrooms, or game lobbies
     - Causing disturbances in forum threads, chats, or game lobbies, such as picking fights, making off-topic posts that ruin the thread, insulting other posters
     - Making posts designed to or likely to get inappropriate responses.

    Naming and shaming
Naming other players suspected of cheating/toxicity on our public forum, goes against our forum rules. If you believe you have a strong case against a suspected cheater/toxic player, please use the in-game 'Report a Player tool' or use the 'Report a Player' tool for the relevant console (PSN or XBL) You can also contact us about any cheaters you have encountered via our private support link with any evidence or video clips you were able to capture > https://www.ubisoft.com/help/contact

    No spamming
Repeatedly posting the same post or topic in a forum, or across multiple forums, is considered spamming. Such posts will be locked, edited or removed. Intentional off-topic or nonsense posting is also likely to be considered spam and will receive the same treatment, especially if this takes an existing thread off-topic. This applies to both written text and image posting, which also includes memes.
If you think of something else you want to add to the thread, please use the Edit button rather than making multiple posts in a row as this may also be seen as spamming, whether intentional or not.

    Stay on topic
Please make sure your post is going in the correct forum. We have specific forums for each game, some of them with their own Off-Topic area or Community Help section. Threads that are off-topic, or become so, may be moved or locked.

    No bumping
Making short posts made with the sole intention of keeping posts near the top of the forum is called “bumping”. This raises forum traffic and clutter unnecessarily and moves more active threads down the page. As such it is not allowed and may result in the thread being lost and persistent offenders may have their posting privileges removed.

    Language
As this forum is managed by Ubisoft US and UK teams we ask that all posts on this board are made in English so we can effectively moderate.
We also ask that you avoid “txt spk” or posting in all caps as this can be considered rude or make posts difficult to read.

    Reporting Posts
If you see a post that you think needs moderator attention, please report it by using the 'Flag Post' tool. While it is not always possible to deal with a reported post immediately, all reported/flagged posts will be dealt with accordingly if they require it. Abuse of the reported post system is subject to the same rules as abuse of any other system on this forum and action may be taken, such as an infraction given to the offender.

    External Content
Any links to these forums must follow the same rules as any content directly posted here. This includes signature images, links, and images.

    Images
All Images posted within these forums are subject to the Forum Rules including and in addition to the following:

    Images must not >

    • Contain any inappropriate content including but not limited to sexual content or reference etc
    • Contain foul language not permitted on the boards with or without symbols to disguise their intended purpose.
    • Insult, harass, abuse members, mods, or staff of the boards or Support
    • Contain quotes, conversations, or chat logs, posted by members, mods, or staff either on these boards or elsewhere.
    • Incite or promote hate groups, or groups designed to troll, flame across the forums.

    Duplicate Accounts
Creating an extra account is not allowed on these forums and second or further accounts will be removed.
Doing so to get around a temporary ban will also result in a permanent one. Character accounts (i.e. creating a duplicate pretending to be a fictional or real person), or accounts impersonating a Ubi representative, will earn an immediate ban. This also applies to using existing accounts to post lock messages or other actions impersonating a moderator. Ban decisions are also final and not up for discussion.

    Ubisoft Support, Moderators, and Community
Community Developers are Ubisoft employees who work in our development studios hand in hand with game production teams to form a bridge between the developers and gamers with the help of other members of the Community team. They are there to inform you of updates and happenings with their respective games, as well as to take your feedback to the developers to help improve current and future titles where possible.

Community Managers & Community Representatives are Ubisoft employees who assist the Community Developers in making players' voices heard. They are also tasked with delivering the strategy of the Community Developer and are regularly kept informed on upcoming titles, patches, and so on. They will pass on as much information from Ubisoft as possible. Community Managers and Community Representatives are also constantly involved in reporting back community feedback, suggestions, issues, and concerns on all our titles. Community Managers and Community Representatives have many community focused responsibilities including monitoring the forums and assisting/updating the Moderation team where possible.

Ubisoft Support Staff are Ubisoft Employees who can offer technical advice and solutions on the forums. Their role is to also help liaise with the wider support teams to offer help and solve issues if they can’t resolve them quickly on the forums.

Moderators are volunteer helpers selected from the community. Their opinions and comments do not reflect the opinion of Ubisoft. They are tasked with the day-to-day running of the game forum and helping the community team where possible.

Moderation Actions – These are not a topic for public discussion, if you have a serious issue to raise with moderation actions taken against you or in general, please contact a Community Manager. Flaming moderators or their actions (this includes telling them how to moderate) is no more acceptable than insulting a regular user. We ask that moderators receive the same civil treatment as other forum members, as they put in a lot of time and effort into these forums.
