This is just me thinking about what would happen in Div3 if it would be made.
At the end of Div2 (season ?? story lore)
Agent Kelso gets killed by Natalia Sokolova or McManus (and/or his Hunters) while she's confronting him.
Sad music will come in bla bla bla.
Then a follow up scene/trailer will be shown, where McManus takes over the lead of The Division.
End of trailer.
The actual start of Div3
McManus is the new lead director of The Division.
Making The Division "Evil".
- He marks every living SHD Agent as Rogue.
- And makes The Hunters, The "new" Division Agents.
- He let's everyone know that we (the players) are not to be trusted, when seeing us immediately call it in, etc.
Turning everyone against us.
He sets Bardon Scheaffer free as he thinks he is still on his side, but Scheaffer will later betray him.
In our first mission we lost all our skills and our gear doesn't work either (Skill build), because "I.S.A.C. doesn't work for Rogue Agents".
(And we are not connected to A.N.N.A., as we didn't join the Rogue Agency yet)
So we will be easily captured by "The Division".
We will be surrounded by Hunters and get knocked out.
We wake up in a Prison cell (Rikers Island) and McManus will say some stuff like you are gonna tell me everything you know, if you want to or not.
Later that day Bardon Scheaffer sets you free and you have to escape without being seen.
And he says if you succeed you have to meet him there and there.
Once there you are yet again surrounded, but this time by "Rogue Agents".
Scheaffer steps into the room and now we come to know that Bardon Scheaffer has taken over the lead of The Rogue Agency.
And he tells us the what's, why's, when's.
Putting the dot's on the i's of the things we came to know in the Div2 season Manhunts.
So now we join the Rogue Agency and we get A.N.N.A as our new I.S.A.C. Network.
(We get our Tech Link, Recovery Link, Survivor Link back, the 1 strap Backpack's, the OG Pulse, the good Heals, THE CLASSIFIED RECLAIMER GEARSET BACK!!!... just kidding.
Although, these are things I want back tho)
With us being in the Rogue Agency now, we are gonna take down all the "Division Agents" in charge.
(In the meantime also free Paul Rhodes/Roy Benetiz)
Until we can finally kill/capture McManus.
While trying to do that we have to re-build/make alliance's with other Factions.
- The Normal Survivors Community
Earn respect so you can obtain:
▪︎ Daily supplies.
▪︎ A dog that will carry ammo for you or "find" food/water/medicine and other things.
▪︎ Vanity Vendors for multiple things.
(Comic books, child's shoes, diamant, etc can be sold/traded instead of finding it for nothing...)
- The True Son's
Earn respect so you can unlock (better/other) gear/weapons.
- The Rogue Agency itself
Earning respect so that the Engineer will make (new) Skills for you.
(Skills vendor and Upgrade the amount of skills you can hold (in Hardcore mode only))
Gameplay and features
During Summer and Spring (real world time)
The map is in Summer style. (Div2)
During Winter and Fall (real world time)
The map is in Winter style (Div1)
(Survival (the mode) is only available during Winter time)
This game will be like Survival all the time, looking for food, water, electronics, ammo becomes a must to survive (Not just to donate to others)
- In PvE, eating/drinking different times per difficulty
▪︎ Story/Normal, 1x for every 24hours you play.
▪︎ Hard/Challenge 3x for every 24hours you play.
▪︎ Heroic world, 1x for every hour you play.
▪︎ And ASAP when offline for more than a day.
- PvP, ASAP for boosts.
- PvEvP consuming needs to be every 10min.
If not in Normal Campaign, it should be in Hardcore Campaign.
(But in Hardcore mode the cap of what you can hold should be 10 (water/food) instead of 250)
like Drones/Turrets/Hives/SeekerMines don't work in the DZ.
Only manually detonated Skills like Sticky Bomb, Chemlauncher, etc.
(This, because the DZ is a deadzone meaning:
No communications, so nobody can see tru "the camera on the skill" to shoot for you).
PvE map & PvEvP map
- PvE map like we have now.
- PvEvP map is:
The whole map is a DZ.
▪︎ Certain parts are PvE only (No PvP)
▪︎ Certain Parts are PvP only (No NPC's)
▪︎ Most Parts are PvEvP
▪︎ Missions become Control Points
You can do the mission (PvE) for 3 rooms in.
but other players can come in after you killed the boss, turning you into the missions enemies for them.
Now you have to fight your way out.
▪︎ These Missions must be done within a certain time, after that timer other players can run in and attack you from behind.
(This, so a team can't just wait inside and only kill the boss when other players are bored of waiting and left the area)
▪︎ Only 1 team can try and kill you per time/mission.
Whoever wins, wins.
▪︎ No respawns until 1 team wins
(1 team only so that people can normally pvp instead of getting ambushed by everyone on the map)
- Eating/Drinking must be done 3x per In-game day. (3x per hour)
(So not in 24 real time hours played)
- Dying by bullets don't let you die immediately, you get hospitalised.
(But dying a second time within the same week does let you die/lose your character)
- All your gear and guns that were on you are "stolen". (First time "dying")
- Dying by poison/hunger/thirst/cold does let you lose your character.
- Gear and weapons become useless the moment you level up, until max level.
(This is to keep the grind going and reasons to loot boxes, craft guns/gear)
You do keep a special pistol that levels up with you.
- Skills that do damage have limited ammo.
And they use certain ammo (Drone SMG bullets, Turret AR bullets, etc)
- You have to pick up and reload the skills.
No more destroying them, no more skill cool down.
- When Skills get destroyed, you have to buy new ones.
You can hold multiple Skills in your inventory, howmany depends on what skill it is.
Turrets 3, drones 5, seekermines 10 (or something)
Your own House/Mansion/Penthouse
Depending on where the game will take place, Let's say it's D.C. again.
- Every player gets their own Mansion that they can decorate.
- They can make it an option to open it up for Everyone (Agent refugees center) to recruit new players or just for Clan members only.
- When being the Commander of a Clan your Penthouse becomes the Clan Quarters.
- Every month you have to defend the place from enemies with max 15 other Clan members. (4 per side)
▪︎ If succeeded to defend the place you get Rewards.
▪︎ The first couple times you get Upgrades for the Mansion + Loot.
▪︎ After all Upgrades are completed you get Commandations that let's you Improve on those Upgrades (Showing off that you defended your place in certain ways) + Loot.
▪︎ After that just loot
▪︎ When Failed, the Commander's Mansion/Clan Quarters will be destroyed.
The Commander now has to redecorate the Mansion and people have some explaining to do.
(And then the Clan gets "redecorated" as well. Lol
- I don't know if this can be possible, but Clan members that didn't get picked to fight outside of the Mansion can still help by sniping/shooting from the windows/balcony.
(Upgrade can be a Mounted Turret on the balcony)
▪︎ Or take control of drones and help defend the place as a Drone Controller.
(The amount of drones that are available can be upgraded per successful defend)
▪︎ Or multiple options (windows, balcony or drones)
