In the forum for AC Valhalla, I recently started a topic about Audio Dynamic Range (ADR) not working as intended in-game. On a hunch, I checked the audio settings in AC Odyssey and found the exact same problem. Unlike AC Origins, it seems that both Odyssey and Valhalla both have an issue where none of the ADR settings perceptively change the audio experience for the player. It doesn’t matter if you switch between Full, Medium, or Night... the game sounds the same... there is no change in the mix between dialogue, sound effects, and music.
The root of this issue is not to be found with hardware, but software. I suspect it may have happened as recently as the last official update, which rolled out the crossover stories event, which may explain why I have not experienced this problem in the settings for AC Origins. Please get this fixed... Odyssey is my favorite of the three modern AC games.
