    After receiving a letter from Birstan , says we have a bow to redeem but after i claim it doesn't show on right screen or in inventory . Tried multiple times to reload my save but no luck same for others.

    @sinisterchill88 Same, this is just ridiculous because now I'm afraid to claim it if they fix it and it doesn't get awarded for those of us experiencing this glitch. I'm on PC.

    @a2020a123 I'm sorry to hear that you are unable to collect the Arc of Elan bow. I can confirm this was previously reported and the development team are investigating.

    Please ensure you have the latest update (1.2.2) installed and also try verifying your game files then try again.

    If the issue persists can you confirm what happens when you try to collect the bow or provide a video if possible:

    • Does the bow not appear
    • Does the bow appear but you are unable to collect it as you cannot interact with it
    • Does the bow appear and Eivor does the animation to pick it up, then it vanishes but it is not added to your inventory

    @ubi-mark From what i heard from reddit , this bug appeared after big update 1.2.2.
    This is a good clue where to investigate .

    Good day!
    I encountered an unpleasant error in the game - unable to obtain the in-game item "Arc of Elan" as a reward for completing the storyline of the Essexe location.
    Now I will describe the situation and apologize in advance if I slightly spoil a part of the plot for someone.
    At the end of the campaign in the Essexe location, a letter from the character Bristan arrives in the Eivor's mailbox in the Ravensthorpe. This character thanks us for our help and gives us this bow "Arc of Elan", related to the "Hunter bow" type. Before reading the letter, this bow visually stands next to the Eivor's mailbox. After reading the letter, the game offers to "accept the gift". After we picking up item by pressing the needed button, the character have animation with his hand (similar to animation of picking up items from baskets and jugs in the open world) and a bow (early standing in front of the character) disappears. Further, a visual notification about the receipt of a new item (from the right edge, in the center) should occur in the game interface, but it doesn't happen. Also, the bow is missing from the inventory (also if you open the character's inventory through the blacksmith in the settlement).
    I saved the game before reading the letter and tried different things: reload the game, meditation and sleep in bed, move the character to another location and back, move the character to another region and back, move further along the plot and try to pick up the item again. Unfortunately, none of this things helped me. The item still visually disappears in front of the character, but is not added to the inventory.

    P.S. I want to note that this problem is not only on the PC, but also on the PS4. My girlfriend is playing this game on PS4 in parallel with me and also faced with the fact that the bow was not added to her inventory.

    @ubi-keo thanks for the link to "known issues list", but early I didn't find my problem in this list. That's why I created this topic. If I was inattentive - sorry for that. If Dev-team know this issue, then I'll just wait for it's decision.

    @imferael Apologies, I'm afraid that it is not possible to list all of the known issues, however it's possible the issue may be added in future, so we do recommend to keep an eye on it. Also the patch notes will be posted in the news and announcements section each time an update is released.

    Please continue to post any issues that you do not find on the known issues list or mega thread list and we can check if it is has already been reported and if not we will report it to be investigated.

    @ubi-keo i have the same issue and i have seen many people also reporting this problem on reddit.

    so is the problem being viewed by devs? can we progress further in the game or should we wait with finishing this quest for next patch?
