I tried to buy the Taranis Settlement Pack (Engraved Tree) from Reda today for 35 opal. The 35 opal was deducted from my overall opal total (went from 644 to 609) but I did not received the item. When I close Reda and go to a settlement icon (the large tree) the Engraved Tree is not present. When I got back to Reda it is as though I did not purchase it (no checkmark). When I attempted to purchase it again, the opals are not deducted a second time but I receive an error stating that I've already received the maximum amount (see screenshot below). I have tried saving, quitting, and then reloading the save with no luck. I have closed the game completely and reloaded my save with no luck. Additionally, when I go to the Helix store to the Settlement Packs, I DO NOT see the Taranis Settlement Pack available for viewing which I believe could be an potential link to the problem. I am on Xbox Series X and have confirmed that other Xbox users do see the pack. So why is it not showing for me, how will I get the item, and/or how will I get my opal back since I did not receive the item?

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

Just as an update, I never received the Engraved Tree (Taranis Settlement Pack) item from Reda after purchasing it yesterday. Today the Hearthweru Sail was at Reda. No issues purchasing that item today but I still did not receive the Engraved Tree nor did I receive my opals back.

@theeelf I'm sorry to hear that you have not received the 'Taranis Engraved Tree' for your settlement. I have checked your account and I can see the transaction, it also shows that the item is in your inventory.

Can you please provide a video to show that the 'Taranis Engraved Tree' is not appearing in your owned settlement cosmetics.

@ubi-keo So I went to take a video this morning and it was now present in the Tree Settlement icon. You can mark this issue as resolved/closed now. Thank you for looking further into it. However, I still can't see the Taranis Settlement Pack in the Helix store though.

Thanks for the update, @TheeElf! I'm glad to hear that the Taranis Engraved Tree is available in your settlement now!

Would you be able to send us some images/a video that shows the Taranis Settlement Pack isn't available for you to purchase in the Animus Store? I've just checked my own Animus store and I was able to find it with the other Settlement Packs.

I recommend using a sharing platform, such as YouTube or Google Drive, to share your media with us. This will allow you to post a shareable link within this thread.

    Thanks

@ubi-borealis As requested, here is a short video showing my Xbox Series X on patch 1.2.2.1 with no Settlement Pack for Taranis:

@theeelf this looks similar to my issue, I don't have Modern Day settlement set on my PS4.

@TheeElf @bielik01 Thanks for the video.

Another player mentioned they had the same issue but they managed to find the settlement packs in the 'Property' tab. It appeared to have been moved there after they purchased a cosmetic from one of the settlement packs from Reda. Can you please check under that tab and confirm if the settlement packs are showing in there.

@ubi-keo I checked the "Property" section and under the "Settlement Tree" section, I do not show the "Engraved Tree" as an option BUT under the Deco Set it does show the "Taranis Settlement Set" which contains the 4 settlement icons for the non-tree decoration markers. So not sure if the Property > Settlement Tree section is only set to show non-purchased items but the other sections will show partially owned (e.g. 1/4 (items owned)). Not sure if anyone else can verify that they did not purchase the tree and also does not show the tree under this section.

@theeelf Thanks for the update. Are you able to provide some images of this please.

    • An image to show the Engraved Tree is not showing under the property tab
    • An image to show that you have the Engraved Tree in your settlement cosmetics
    • An image to show the Taranis Settlement Pack is showing under the property tab and which cosmetics are listed under that pack

I just wanted to follow up and let you know that this is NOT resolved for me as of TU 1.3.1. The Taranis Settlement Pack still doesn't exist under the Settlement Packs section. I can see Dark Knight, High Elf, Werewolf, Jormungandr, Charlemagne, Ullr's Hunter, Knight ISU, Modern Day, Knight of the Round, Hearthweru, Gothic, Hel's Damnation, Niflheim, Draugr, Huldufolk, Valkyrie, Berserker, and Einherjar in that order. The Taranis Settlement Pack does not exist for me as of 1.3.1. Additionally, the Engraved Tree does not appear in the Property section of the Store under the Settlement Tree section.
