    Hello!

    Assasins Creed Valhalla has a problem displaying in the correct way on a Samsung G9 Odyssey monitor.  The monitor has a native resolution of 5120x1440 pixels and an aspect ratio of 32:9. The game recognizes the resolution and allows me to select it in the menu, however it displays with black bars at the top and bottom in practice displaying 1200 pixels vertically.

    I think the game has a problem recognizing my monitor correctly because it also doesn't show the correct "aspect ratio" to choose from in the menu, and suggests to me that 4:3 and 1024x768 are my native settings. (Sceens here:
    and
    )

    I have tried uninstalling the graphics drivers, uninstalling the monitor etc. nothing helped. On the other monitor (3440x1440) the game displays correctly.

    Running the game in windowed mode also has no effect because the game thinks 1024x768 is my native resolution and displays it that way.

    I would appreciate any potential solutions to the problem or letting me know what information you need.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.
