I have noticed that when the shop has a bow for sale, it doesn't say what type it is (light, hunter, predator). Am I supposed to go by a symbol or something? It seems like an oversight, but maybe I am missing something since I just started playing.

(I am not sure it is worth buying equipment versus upgrading it.)

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

@virtualawesome If you are looking at the bows in the AC Valhalla online store there is a info button you can click on that will give you the bows details. It is in the left corner below the bows picture.

    Hello there @VirtualAwesome!

I'm sorry to hear that you've encountered some trouble when deciding whether you're going to purchase a bow or not. Thanks for helping out, @ChuckKatse! If you're purchasing a bow from the Animus Store, you should be able to view more information before deciding if you'd like to purchase.

If you're referring to the bows you can purchase from Yanli and the traders across the world, I don't believe there's a way to currently view the type of weapon it is before purchase. I understand that this cause some confusion, and have share this feedback with the development team.

In the meantime, if you make a purchase and are unhappy with it, you can quickly reload your last autosave and you won't have lost any silver. I can also let you know the weapon types in this thread, if you'd like. I'll pop them under a spoiler warning, in case you'd like them to remain a mystery:

I hope this helps you out! If you have any further questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out.

    Thanks! 😊

@ubi-borealis Yes, it is the in-game purchasing that is confusing. Of course, I can look them up before I purchase them. I thought it was an odd thing to leave out of the game since the bow type is so important. Thanks for your help.

You're welcome, @VirtualAwesome! I can understand how not having more information about the weapons prior to purchase can be confusing. I've shared this feedback with the development team so they can take a closer look at this.

I'd recommend keeping an eye out within the News & Announcements forum for any future updates. If you require any further support, please don't hesitate to reach out within the forums! 🙂
