@ubi-keo I went through the list of completed quests, and noticed some are missing (the unchecked ones)

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

@ubi-keo is anything being done about it?

Hello again @bielik01, at the moment this issue has been brought up to us by other players and can seem to affect any quest in the log. It is currently still under investigation by our QA team.

However as far as I can see, examples of this were given from the games overlay itself. Does the game overlay show you the same quests as uncompleted?

What app are you currently using to track this in the image above?

@ubi-milky the app is Guide and Checklist - AC Valhalla. I must have completed the quests (given my gameplay time - around 400 hours), but there's no proof in my quest log, and that's what this thread is about. The quests are listed in the app, but not in the game itself, and I think they should be. So why are they missing? You can check my cloud save.

    Ah thank you for clarifying.

So when it comes to third party apps that are not developed by Ubisoft ourselves, we can not troubleshoot or advise if there is an issue with said app, in this case, the tracking of quests in the app.

We do have our own Ubisoft Connect app you can download, but at the moment specific quests are not logged specifically, instead certain other game progress is such as collectibles, achievements that require story arc completion and overall side quest completion are tracked instead-

In any case, thank you for this suggestion. As this is not something the player support section can help with, I will move your post to our General Discussion area as it is more of a Feedback and Content Suggestions type of post, thank you.

@ubi-milky check Quest Log, if you have, for example, A Brief History of the Hidden Ones (from Hytham) in completed quests list, because I don't have it (and other quests from the screenshot).

Actually, the app helped me identify missing quests from the Quest Log.

@ubi-milky please, don't move it to General Discussion. It belongs to Player Support.

Hey @bielik01, as previously posted, this app may be useful to our players, but as it is an unofficial Ubisoft app, we are unable to offer assistance, therefore we are unable to view this as a topic as Player Support request, as we can not offer players support.

That is the reason this post will be moved to General Discussion, as it is a suggestion that a player made, to be added to our Ubisoft Connect app. Thank you for understanding.

    @Ubi-Milky you're missing the point...
I wrote I am missing several completed quests in my log, for example A Brief History of the Hidden Ones.
    Check if you have it.

@Ubi-Borealis why did you merge my new thread into the locked one (which is in General Discussion)?
That doesn't make the problem disappear.
I'm missing some quests from my Quest Log (the list of the missing quests is in the first post of the thread).
Please, just verify if you can see them, and if you can, please tell me what I can do to see them too.

    Hello there @bielik01!

Thanks for the tag! I didn't realise that your thread had been locked, and I have now unlocked it. I've also moved your thread back over the player support. Thanks for bringing this to my attention, and I apologise for any confusion or inconvenience that has been caused. Allow me to take a closer look at the issue you're encountering.

This issue with missing quests has been reported to the development team, and they are currently investigating further. I've spotted in my own game that a number of settlement quests (such as the ones you've listed in the screenshot you've provided) are missing from my completed quest log, despite the fact I've already completed them 😑

We don't yet have any updates to share from the investigation regarding the missing quests. I'd recommend keeping an eye out within the News & Announcements forum for any future updates.

    Thanks! 😊

@ubi-borealis could this be the same reason why my “ ireland saga “ achievement didn’t unlock in concect. Because it doesn’t Register?

  • Ubi-Borealis
    Ubisoft Support Staff 3625 posts

    Hello there @victoruchiha82!

I believe that the issue @bielik01 is experiencing is slightly different to core challenges not completing as expected. @bielik01 is reporting that settlement quests completed in-game (such as "Taken for Granted" and "Have You Seen This Man" do not show up on the "Completed Quests" log in-game. This does not impact on any of their core challenges or achievements unlocking, though.

As you are encountering trouble with an core challenge, rather than a quest, it would be best to investigate these separately. I've checked in on the investigation into this issue and we don't yet have any updates to share at this time. In future, I'd recommend that we continue any conversation about your "Ireland Saga" core challenge in this thread, as this will help to prevent any confusion or loss of information.

    Thanks! 😊

Hi all, thank you for your patience while we get these issues looked into and apologies for any confusion caused with our previous responses. Please rest assured that while we are not able to provide further information regarding quest tracking at this time, our team is looking into the cause of this and hope to have a resolution as soon as possible.

In the meantime, while we would not be able to promote any 3rd party apps, you can find this information as advised further up this thread. If you have any other applications or guides which may assist out players travelling through Norway, England and beyond, I would recommend creating a separate post in our general forum to share this information without detracting from your support requests.

Again, we thank you for your time and patience, but if you have any further queries or would like to provide any additional feedback, please feel free to let us know.
