After update 1.3.0 when I go to Ireland, Eivor goes to his bed there and the game gets in an endless loup that you can not exit anymore.

Why does Ubisoft never test these updates!?!?!?!?

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

    Hello there,

As we have had no reports of this issue with this fast travel loop persisting in game following the release of TU 1.3.1, we will now be locking this thread.

If you encounter any further trouble when fast travelling to Ireland, please don't hesitate to create a new thread so we can investigate further.

    Thanks! 😊

Playing on PC. Can confirm the bug.
Luckily the save wasn't replaced and still in England when loaded.

Bug is on PS4 games as well.. All of my saves were in Ireland.. Can't do a d**n thing.. Thanks a lot Ubisoft.. More time between updates only seems to mean worse and worse bugs.

ah, I was going to create this topis, because I have the same issue on PC, but manual save in Ireland works properly, only traveling into Ireland is bugged.

I can confirm this on PS4 as well. It's an endless loop of Eivor going to sleep.

So, I just updated on my XBox Series X and when I fast-travel to Dublin, the cutscene for Eivor going to bed kicks in when I arrive. Was he really that tired? But wait... he keeps going to bed! The game is stuck in a sleep-cycle loop that can only be broken when quitting to the title screen of the game. I have tried restarting the game entirely, but the problem keeps persisting. Please fix this ASAP!!

@ubi-keo why so late? They should have known about this a week ago. When is the hotfix for this planned?

@bielik01 The issue has only just been reported, we have no further information at the moment.

@ubi-keo why was it not discovered during testing?

Step 4 of this new pipeline failed? What I mean is, it was submitted (step 5) a week ago, there was a whole week until deployment to identify the issue and delay TU 1.3.0.
Sometimes it's better to acknowledge own mistakes than worry about the consequences of erroneous deployment.

UBisoft I have a simple question. How hard is it to test your updates before making them go live on all platforms. You people cause more problems than are necessary and testing updates would solve a good majority of them. Your inability or just don't care to test updated content before it goes live shows complete negligence on your part.

@bielik01 @ChuckKatse Unfortunately not all bugs and glitches are detected during the internal testing. I can understand your frustration and I can only apologise for the inconvenience caused.

This issue is high priority and the team will be working to resolve this as soon as it is possible.

Travelled from England to Ireland like I do everyday to pick up the contents of the crate to exchange for silver. But when I get to Ireland it immediately puts Eivor to bed in Dublin and ends up in an endless loop where the character enters the go to sleep and wakes up again cutscene. The only way to exit this is to pause and go back to the title screen. If this could be rectified that would be great. Thankyou very much.
