What I say in this post, I say with love, because this is my favourite game series and I just want to make it better... However I can't ignore the glaring problems with the stealth in Valhalla that are just, flat out, ignored in buglists and the known issues list.
Fundamental problems:
These issues have been here since launch and have had no TLC to make it any better. So here we go:
Personal taste
Apologies if this is a common post, but frankly, if they just fixed the problems that people are constantly complaining about then they wouldn't get so many posts about it. It's Assassins' creed after all and they should really listen to these posts, especially if they're recurring.
Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

@isaac02444 I believe in TU 1.3.0 stealth got much worse than it was, probably because of Level Scaling. Enemies supposed to be stronger, not to detect me easier.
Totally agree with all your points. Its very sad that the stealth problems aren't even acknowledged which means they have next to 0 chance of being fixed. I would guess the problem is too complex and pervasive for them to even look into.
Enemies can detect you through walls, and from across the map. This one speaks for itself, very frustrating!
I see this one a lot, but its so hard to characterize and ID what exactly is going wrong. One thing I have noticed is that enemies engaging combat with npc civilians will act like Eivor has been detected. This is repeatable at Elmet monastery, where the Picts are keeping some civilians in a small building. Sometimes, the civilians bust out and the Picts try to kill them. If Eivor is anywhere in the vicinity, all the enemies suddenly know exactly where you are, even if out of sight.
If one enemy knows where you are, they all do. There have been many instances where an enemy will spot me and the entire camp will run at me, even if they are definitely not within earshot of the enemy screaming.
Yes, this one is strange too. It seems like behavior that SHOULD be triggered by the alarm bell, but happens all the time regardless. I often let the enemies ring the alarm and it does nothing.
Great summary of the stealth problems, hope it gets some attention.
@lemmie88 It's very frustrating, you can even see these posts all over the placed on the subreddit, which the community manager often replies to. So it's not like they aren't aware, just like they don't care, which is very sad.
I've reposted it in bug reports hoping that an employee, at least, sees it. Thanks for assuring me I'm not the only one!
