    Is there any more disliked fight than this? In fog? 👻

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

    @dagrommit

    I agree. I’m not engaging in that. I will actually find a safe place to wait it out and go have a drink or a break for a few minutes to let poor weather pass. I guess I’m a fair weather fighter 🙂

    Only one weather type puts the brakes on me and that'd be a sandstorm. Everything is doable with a pulse equipped (in a sandstorm too but much harder). The weather system in the Snowdrop engine is one of my favourite bits.

    @dagrommit The Sandstorm is a nightmare. I'll engage in fog but if there is a sandstorm i'll walk towards the Base of Operations until it gets to bad and then I'll fast travel the rest of the journey and do whatever i need to do in the Base of Operations until it passes. I always leave something to do for times like sandstorms.

    That boss fight is a pain even in clear daylight. I guess I'm lucky I never had to deal with him in the fog or sandstorms.

    Come to think of it, do the sandstorms happen in NYC too? I never seen one, as in my 1500 hours I've only seen it happen 3 or 4 times in Washington D.C.

    The saving grace is that it seemed to block him from shooting at me, so I could run out into the middle and take potshots at each tower until I found him.

    But yeah, sand storms are the worst. I don't recall seeing them in NYC.

    I LOVE this kind of weather, and the duststorms.
    I did the Tidal Basin during a duststorm, and it was by far the easiest and fastest run for me. BT didn't know what hit them.
    Obviously, you need the pulse.
