USST East introduced "Mississippi Special" this week, But the name should relate to "American Cars in the Midwest" (e.g. "Midwest Special") since this is the corresponding regular street race.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

Do you happen to have a screenshot of this so we can bring this to the team's attention?

    Thank you!

No, sorry, if the devs can not even check this without a screenshot, then I'm out. This is ridiculous!

Apologies for that, @obu42 - it's standard procedure whenever we pass something on, but I can certainly see how it doesn't have the same value in this case. I've passed your feedback about this being misnamed on now.

Let me know if you run into any other issues.

I dont think its a big deal. Both "American cars in the Midwest" and "Along the Mississippi" start from the same gate. New special stage event (which copies "american cars" route) could easily be called St. Louis special" or something like this, "Mississippi" is also fine. I dont know how a stage name can relate to "american cars" since its supposed to reference a place, and there are several stages in midwest so "Midwest special" doesnt sound specific enough.

But there is another issue. Mississippi is misspelled in events name, it says "Mississipi special" (with single "p") when you hover over this event on the map. However in activities list it says "Mississippi" on events thumbnail. Image has correct spelling, text string doesnt.
