So I read everywhere that the game now fully supports the DualSense controller on PC and I wanted to try it out myself. Plugged the controller on my PC using the original type-c cable that came with my PS5. Controller is recognized in game as DualSense, adaptive triggers work when using the bow. The only thing missing is any kind of vibration. No vibration during combat, no vibration during fishing. I feel a slight weak vibration when switching menu tabs, but that's just it. I tried different type-c cables and different usb ports. The result is the same. I got my PS5 a week ago, and I updated the controller's firmware through it. It works just fine on the PS5. Any help will be appreciated.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

Great to hear you've been making use of the new DualSense support, @youknowwho77 😎

In fact, the majority of the functionality added is the change to the triggers. However, I appreciate you letting me know you are not feeling the haptic feedback you'd expected from the update - that's great feedback for us to know, and I've passed it on.

Let me know if you've any other thoughts or questions about this.

Hi I am also not getting proper haptic feedback in assassin's creed valhalla booting from Ubisoft Connect launcher. I only started playing today with the PS5 controller and it does not do anything but regular vibrations. No haptics on the triggers at all.

The same ps5 controller plugged in works fine in metro exodus remastered edition on pc. So it is not the controller. Perhaps something broke in the last update?

I have windows 11 with the latest updates, rtx 2080 ti with latest drivers as well.

Agreed, it's just not working at all for me either. It doesn't even vibrate, so I'll have to go back to the Xbox controller.
