Quick Suggestions

I made this suggestion before only it was short mentioned in a list with other things.
    But
Turn the settlement blokkade back to how it was.
Just make it bigger and with better rewards!!

    How it was:
    * You couldn't fast travel to the settlement that had a blokkade.
This was good but the rewards were trash, so it became really annoying.

    * The blokkade was on 1 side of the settlement.
This didn't make sense at all !
(You couldn't enter a settlement from the South because there was a blokkade in the North...?)

    * The blokkade was short and had no named boss(es).
Therefore it was boring and annoying as well.
    --------------------------
    Improvements:

    * that we can't fast travel to a settlement with a blokkade should come back.
But once a month instead of every week.

    * People that still don't wanna do it can hold the fast travel button longer to skip the blokkade.
Now it will be checked as done and you can't get the rewards from it even if you help friends or others (back up call)

    * The blokkade should surround the whole settlement.
This way you can start from any side.

    * After you killed the couple waves of enemies infront of the gate, you can open the gate by destroying something infront of it.
By doing this Allies come out and help you defend it from incoming enemies. (Sort of like CP)

    * Every side has a named boss in the end wave.
    Example:
    North 5 warhounds
    East 3 big guys
    South: 1 big drone
    West: 2-5 Hunters.
Last side you do are always Hunters.

    * Rewards
It's once a month so every named boss should have a big chance for exotic drop.
(If lucky you can end up with 4 exotic's)
And for completing it: 1 exotic cache, 3 named caches, 3 optimization caches, 3 material caches, 10 Tactical Assessments from every faction, and normal stuff guns, gear and/or mods.

    ***Skill vanity mod reward.
3 mods in total, 1 mod per blokkade.
100% drop rate but with a catch.
Let that weird Scavenger Guy use it on both you and the Hunters.
Now it's the question of who kills him first.
If you kill him you get the drop.
If the Hunters kill him you don't get the drop.
And now the Hunters will use the skill with that vanity mod as sort of toxic behavior. Lol

If not skill vanity mods then 3 new Hunter masks.
100% drop rate but 1 per blokkade.
You can wear these masks WITH hats/hoodys.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

    @dutchlmb4ever this sounds really good.
That activity is indeed useless for a blokkade.
One settlement doesn't have gates at every direction though.
But instead of coming out of a gate, the Allies can shoot from above the wall?
And the completing rewards is too much.
    Exotic 1, named 1, optimization 1, material 1.
    Tactical assessments 5 per faction.
Gear guns and mods drop from normal enemies so that can go.
The skill vanity reward is creative and good.
And the three masks are good too.

    @angrypandanr1 This is good!!
I like the idea of allies on top of the wall where there is no gate!!

The cache rewards is a lot because its once a month.
If it's once a week then your cache list is good.

    5 Tactical Assessments is reasonable.

About the normal loot, it is indeed already dropping from random enemies so that can be crossed off yes.

Good thinking, I hope more people give feedback on it.

@dutchlmb4ever I actually don't care about the rewards. (Besides the vanity and masks rewards)
Your idea is just something we need in the game.
It is an activity that is straight up pointless right now.
And you made it better + longer.
It's not just the same 3 minute activity, but now always placed infront of a settlement gate.

I've seen other really dumb and non creative ideas like.
. Put that one dz activity in the open world.
. Or put the ambush helicopter from the dz (which isn't an activity already because it's way to easy) in the open world as an activity.
It's not creative at all, it's copy pasting already existing stuff and makes the dz even less special then it already is or isn't. Haha

Anyone has something to add on this?

The other day the blokkade acctivity was at the otherside of the map....
The blokkade of the left side settlement was near Washington Hotel.
It looked like it was the blokkade for the right side settlement.

This activity is the most pointless in the game right now.
But it can be one of the most exciting activities.

The only thing I would like to change is that It's weekly instead of once a month.
BUT every first or last week it has more rewards and ofcourse more enemies.
