UNSOLVED Equipping runes causes the game to crash

I just bought gothic armor set (with my Helix credit) and game crashes whenever I try to equip any rune in any piece of the armor. Any suggestion? Thanks.

@gersontf I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue.
Can you please try the all of the troubleshooting steps in the support article here then try again.
If the issue persists can you confirm if this only occurs when trying to equip runes on the Gothic armour set or do you experience the same issue when trying to equip runes to other armour?
Do you also experience any other crashes whilst playing the game?Official Response -

Hi, just verified the game files and did more testing: now the crash happens when I try to change the runes for hood, helmet, bracers and pants.
It's fine when changing runes for chest, bow and both weapons.
I am on Windows 10 and my PC specs below:

Your system specs do look like they should be able to run Valhalla without issue. Can you confirm if you've followed the rest of the steps in the troubleshooting guide, besides verifying the game files? In particular, please make sure you've updated your graphics drivers and operating system, and check for software conflicts that might be interfering with the game.
If none of the steps helps, let us know - we'll be able to talk you through how you can generate some system files and send them across to us to help us diagnose the issue

Hi, I have done all the above and still have the issue... it was actually fine until today (I haven't installed or changed anything today).
Pls let me know how I can send over a save file.

@gersontf yews I have the same problem. Not only with the gothic set but with any armor I want to assign, keeps crashing. Here is their reply to me (After further researching this issue, I have found that this issue of the game crashing when trying to equip the runes is a known issue that our teams are already investigating. At this time we do not have a solution.)

@wornrambo Confirmed. This keeps happening every time I try to equip runes to the Paladin set. The menu will stutter, freeze then exit to the home screen. I think the last patch allowed for up to 300 runes to be displayed in the list but I have about 400+ for armor alone. I wonder if this has something to do with it? (XB1).

Unfortunately every new update or DLC brings new problems, bugs and glitches, I confirm for PS4 Pro, the inability to place a rune and any armor on any part of the armor without the game crashing. I'm sending PS this crash report, so I hope that if they press Ubisoft to solve it. When you look at the list of problems, some have not been solved for more than 6 months, but they still release new things that make the game worse ...

Hi,
My game freezes and crashes to desktop while in inventory each time I try to equip any rune on any armor piece. It doesn;'t happen with weapons. Crashes started after 1.3.0 Siege of Paris update. Game is installed on main NVME SSD, i9 10850k, RTX 3090, 32GB RAM, latest drivers, latest Win 10 update, verified files, tried to delete cache folder, tried with dfferent saves, still crashing.
Anyone else facing the same issue ? -
