I would like to raise a bug or glitch to Division 2 developers with regards to Summit Floor 100. Currently the group leader is able to soft lock himself at the Lobby Lift while group members are clearing the first part of the Floor 100 with the easiest difficulty, before the leader re-adjust the difficulty and directives and then complete the final Hunter fights to get maximum experience and loot quality. This allows the players to bypass completing the first part of the Floor 100 with the same level of difficulty and directives but took a shortcut and go straight for hunters and changing the difficulty and directives on the fly.

Please check the Youtube video link below to see how it is reproduced, with detailed steps in the Description section. It is appreciated if this bug or glitch can be looked into and patched accordingly if it is not intended.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

Hi there @spicedalmonds ! First, I'd like to welcome you to posting in the Ubisoft Discussions! Thank you as well for bringing this issue to our attention, and for providing that video clip as well. While I understand it can be reproduced, do you happen to notice if this randomly began to happen, or if it's been happening for as long as you've played this particular area?

Hi @ubistorm, thanks for replying. I have no idea if this is always the case, or it was reproducible due to season changes, as I did not go out of my ways to bypass encounters in Summit. I did not do enough Summit Floor 100 farming in groups to be aware of this, but others might have known if this is possible since recently or way before then.

This was brought to my attention lately as Summit Floor 100 farming is very popular especially with mass Oxidizer strategy to kill Hunters at the end, but with this bug/glitch players are able to take it up a notch and repeatedly get to Hunters fight with ease.

Please do kindly investigate whether this is a bug or glitch, or if players able to switch difficulty or directive mid way is expected or by design. Thank you very much!

Thank you for clarifying that for us. This has been passed on and reported to our game team who will investigate further.

As you say this is an exploit being used for farming, and we strive to keep the game as fair as possible. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention.

If there's anything we can do to help in the meantime, please let us know!

@ubi-nacho Thanks for your response. I am not certain if this is intended, but I hope Massive can clarify this either way.

For your reference, this is another video of player showcasing how it is being done to allow difficulty or directives switching while Summit floor is being cleared.

    Hope this helps.
