Wanted to know how exactly hazard protection percentages work in TD2, for example if I'm running the backfire exotic and have let's say 70% bleed resistance or hazard resistance does that mean I will only take bleed from reloads 30% of the time? I've seen that around 95% HzP completely takes away the bleed but haven't seen anything on what under 95% actually does. Also who would be okay with a backfire buff of Taking away the red screen and stumble (basically the gun just DMGs you for the 10s)

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

The good thing about Hazard Protection is that it covers

    • Bleed Resistance,
    • Blind Deaf Resistance,
    • Burn Resistance,
    • Confuse Resistance,
    • Disrupt Resistance,
    • Ensnare Resistance,
    • Poison Resistance, and
    • Shock Resistance.

So investing in Hazard Protection will have a lot more benefits than only gaining Bleed Resistance.

Resistances in TD2 reduce how long and how much you will be affected from Status Effects. So a 70% resistances reduces the duration and the strength of a Status Effect by 70%.
