Currently Ctrl Q, Ctrl E etc. will open the relevant UI with everything scrolled to the top, which is very annoying. Can you please make them open the panes with everything scrolled to where it was the last time you opened the UI (or make it an option)? Thank you.

Currently you have to mouse click the $$$$ in the top left to open the Finances pane and from there mouse click the Production tab for it to likely retain where you've previously scrolled to in the various interfaces which quickly becomes tedious to do.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

To clarify, when pressing the Hotkey to open the Production menu the scrollbar for the goods you're producing will be scrolled to the top, the same occurs for the Production tab on the right side of the Production UI. When navigating to this menu by mouse clicking your income and then the Production tab, the scrollbars will be positioned where you left them the last time you opened the menu which is my preferred behaviour.

This affects the Production, Storage, population and Items menus. It does not affect the list of islands on the left.

The Finances menu has a slightly different issue where the Breakdown UI doesn't remember what you've expanded regardless of accessing the menu via the mouse or hotkey (navigating back and forth between Finances and one of the other tabs will not cause this).

having the menus reset because you've Panned the camera in to open waters or to another island is acceptable/fine.

The keyboard shortcuts for opening various UI panes like production, finances etc. don't remember what I had clicked on and scrolled to... I have to mouse click my current money display in the top left and then navigate to the relevant tab if I want it to remember that stuff and doing that a lot feels like developing RSI.

The only time it should forget what you've clicked/scrolled to is when you navigate to another island or navigate from an island to the ocean.
