Directives switched today and the Armor Break bug is STILL in game. More than 50% of the time armor kits will NOT remove the armor break from the directive. This bug has been around since the Armor Break Directive was first introduced and is still not fixed. The only ways to reset it when it does this is to log out or go to New York (from DC) or DC (from New York).

Please either fix the bug or remove it from the line up permanently.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

IIRC (it's been a while since I last used this directive) fast travelling to any safehouse will fix it. Also I remember being told dying/respawning (in missions or summit) will fix it - but not if your revive hive picks you up. Not sure how that plays with an NPC revive (at a CP) or other player revive in coop, or with downed vs dead revive.

Just spent a little while ingame trying to proc the bug (first with the 'damage self' option in the firing range, then in the open world) but no luck, stacks were removed correctly every time.

Hello everyone! I am sorry to hear that you are encountering a bug with Armor Break. Does fast travelling to the safe house help resolve this for you? Please let me know, thanks!

@ubisushivamp Hi, even if fast traveling to a Safe House does fix the problem, it is still bugged. And typically for Memento users, traveling to a safe house in order to get rid of that bug is really annoying as you lose all your Memento stacks so one tends to NOT want to fast travel to safe house but rather to a CP or something else that will not remove the Memento stacks.

Please, fix that bug, I don't think this would take very long to do so and it would greatly change the gameplay when using the "Fragile Armor" directive.

Thanks in advance for doing the right thing for the community !

    Kind regards,

    Simon

I agree, traveling to a safehouse or dying is not a solution to this bug, it's an annoying workaround at the very best.

This should be a known bug on the developer list, and it probably is, I'm just guessing there's no staff or resources working on this. If it was, it would have been solved by now. We can only hope that the team that is working on coming changes work on these long lasting bugs too.

That's sadly at least what we all have to assume, as the bug is still around and nothing has happened ever since.

I'd even prefer having the directive removed from at least the Season's rotation and replaced with another armor directive.

    Hey everyone,

Thanks for the info. We have reported this issue already so it is something the dev team are aware of. We haven't got any other information at this time though so I apologise for any inconveniences caused from this.
