    As others have noted, there is a bug with the current patch being rolled back, but it's more than that. Every time I close Ubisoft Connect, it either rolls back the current patch or reapplies the new patch. (So currently, don't close Ubisoft Connect if you have the current patch installed.) The first time the patch rolled back then was reapplied, I noticed that every achievement except from High Life had been unlocked, even though I haven't played since Season 2.

    Same basic problem for me. So I'll watch if someone finds a solution.

    One thing I can add: I did play yesterday and unlocked one of the High Life Achievements. That one ist still unlocked.

    If there is no way of resetting the Achievements to the status before the patch, would it be possible to reset all of them and starting over?

    @tuesday4am Yeah same for me. I bought the game not to long ago with all season passes. Today when i wanted to play a new game. all portraits but the high rise were unlocked and saw all the achievemnts earned on september 3rd. I rather achieved them myself. This is stupid!

    I have a strange feeling, that if they fix it our savegames will be broken if we pick some portraits or build some things normally unlocked by achievement ...
    BB made great game, but their QA department is garbage ...

    Just here to say I have the same issue with achievements.

    The way I fixed the patch problem is by switching off automatic downloading in Ubisoft Connect.

    Agreed, I'd rather start over (had like 50% of the achievements) than not be able to actually achieve anything now 😞

    I've been playing since release, slowly progressing and I got this bug as well yesterday. Needless to say I feel really angry and sad that almost 2 years of stuff that I earned on my own is now thrown out of the window because everything is unlocked. I'd rather start fresh than to have everything unlocked, because it just feels wrong to me. I really hope this issue can be fixed, even if my saves or previous achievements have to be discarded.

    I just checked and I have this issue as well. Honestly would rather see all my achievements wiped and let me start from scratch.

    I'll just bump this, since it's been 3 weeks without as much as an acknowledgement. I get that it might have gone under the radar while the bigger bugs have been around, so no hard feeling there, but please take another look at it. If it's not a possibility, tell us. Frankly, this has killed my motivation to play the game for a bit now and thats a shame, cause it's easily the best anno to date.

    They replied on the post I made on the same issue, but just said they were aware of this problem, were working on it, and to keep watching their updates on the forum to see if they fixed it

    @shonjannow "Funny thing" is, that it's an regression error - they haven't lear anything after last incident ~11 months ago nor they have written any automatic tests to prevent such thing ...

    We're continuing to investigate the issue of these achievements already being unlocked, and we're looking to get it resolved as soon as possible. My apologies that we've nothing more to report at the moment, and for the inconvenience while we sort it out.

    @baraterek That's mixing up two things here. For several games, including Anno 1800, all challenges and rewards were completed/unlocked last year with the switch from Uplay to Ubisoft Connect. This was intended behaviour and the Reddit thread you linked is showing those challenges (even if talking about achievements).

    The issue from the beginning of September was a different matter, which unlocked the achievements for some players. That was of course not intended and we're currently investigating if and how we can resolve this.

    "Unfortunately, this issue cannot be fixed retroactively, and we are not able to reset your achievement progress" ...
    So we know, that for achievements there is no Event Sourcing, history log nor any other modern software dev approach behind Ubisoft Connect. They replace one bad software (Uplay), with another (Ubisoft Connect).
    For those, who like make achievements it's really sad news, and even if we would make them "virtually" we cannot be sure if - normally - game would "accept" it.
    Sad, that BB was bought by Ubisoft and need to be provided with this "launcher"
