Good day! Unfortunately, the bug with disappearing trees persisted (

    • Fixed an issue where manually planted trees could disappear after save and reload if they were built near buildings or roads

    Not work(

By the way, the hotkey "turn the building to the left" is also constantly reset when loading the game.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

The bug of disappearance of trees placed near roads and buildings is not solved.
    After reloading, they disappeared.

Can confirm tree tree removal issue has persisted. Running into the same on my saves.

    Hello there,

The notes suggesting the issue has been fixed will now regrettably be out of date. The development team have confirmed that trees are working as intended.
The design of manually planted trees was changed: Players are not allowed to build trees on neighbor tiles of some buildings anymore and the lumberjacks also should not use these tiles anymore.

Apologies for any disappointment this may cause. If the trees behavior changes in any way from what is noted here, please let us know.

    Thank you.

Why then write in update 12.0 that exactly what is shown in the screenshots will be fixed? This was the problem, and it was specifically written about this in the 12.0 update post. When you manually plant kilometers and hectares of trees, and then they just disappear along the roads, this is NOT the correct planting system.
But apparently you know better what needs to be fixed and how, you just don't need to write about the fix in the patch note and not do it.

p.s. the high life - this is the best thing that has been done in 3 years. divine work has been done ...

I just saw that this is a known issue and also that theres no fix comming since its "intended behavior". So i guess its something like the buildings are loaded from save as if they were placed wich causes close trees to vanish? However if u ever got spare time, please scratch your heads on this. A fix would really improve the game for quiet some players. The difference is kinda noticable as u can tell from my screenshots too. https://imgur.com/a/g9evoAQ

Any chance we can get the big trees as decoration tiles in Enbesa?
The available trees there look really sad. If there would be the big decoration trees like in the old and new world, at least me would be pretty happy.
Its extremly disappointing planting trees between the houses in Enbesa for nice screenshots, reload and everything is gone. 😞

Sorry, but they are definitely not working as intended, if so, players shoudn`t even be able to place trees next to streets or buildings.
--> No design was changed, it´s still allowed to build trees on neighbor tiles. No single serious programmer would say that allowed tree-building and vanishing after reloading, is an intended feature.

Especially when considering the many promises to fix that problem since May. Sounds like "we are unable to fix it, so just tell the players, its intended"... 😉

Hey guys, thank you very much for sharing your feedback regarding this - much appreciated.

I do understand that being able to still plant it and then have your trees disappearing is not an ideal scenario and accordingly, I will ensure that all of this is forwarded to our team accordingly.

Apologies about any inconvenience this may cause and if you run into any other issues, let us know!

    Hey @JupiterKOG ,

Thanks for the update, we have a bit of a backlog right now but we're working on getting back to all players as soon as we can!

In the meantime, please refrain from de-railing other unrelated threads.

Hang tight, we'll be with you soon!

I have to admit, I'm disappointed.
Now you can't even plant trees for screenshots?
Please give us big decoration trees. The enbeasan natural trees are really pretty, it's sad not to be able to use them for decoration purposes between the houses.

    Some context:
As stated in the Release Notes, trees cannot be placed next to roads and buildings anymore (i.e. the places where they would disappear from after loading).
The reason for this automatic removal is, that the game automatically removes trees etc. close to buildings to make sure they’re not going inside the building model itself. You can already see that when you place a building or a road somewhere.
Upon loading, the game does this check again and removes vegetation that is too close to a building.
So, to avoid that you can place trees in these spots from which they would be removed anyway, these spots are now blocked automatically.

edit: We will take a look at providing more ornamental trees in future updates.
