family bonds quest bug plz fix it

Greetings,
I cant start a new run. Everytime I cant give my liqiur to Edward. Already started two more runs, de/installed the game. Everytime, I got this bug.
Any ideas for a fix/workaround? -

Same problem here. Unable to progress in a new game no matter what I try. Getting sick of repeating the beginning of the campaign so many times...

OK, there was just a 436MB update. The campaign works again for me. But worked on the problem very quickly, thanks for that.

@smoodt Fyi to others, same for me too. Seems to be working now or least, i'm past Family Bonds in the main quest line finally.
I do note though that i had also updated display drivers, rebooted, and restarted on normal difficulty, so i'm not entirely sure which of the above fixed it - i'll give the devs the benefit of the doubt and say it was the update. -
What did you guys do differently? I updated, but still am getting stuck at the same old place, with our dear uncle choosing not to pick up the Schnapps.

@thumperkit I haven't been able to make it work. My game is updated. I did reinstalled it but the bug persists.

For players that are still experiencing this issue, the development team are still working on a fix. In the meantime, be sure that you have tried verifying the files, and updated the game to it's most recent version. We'll be sure to let you know when more information on this becomes available.

@jason_holm Yo - I did everything suggested, but thought it might be the placement of the ship recieving the liquor... So I tried moving my port at the beginning of my fifth playthrough - that worked, and I was able to deliver the liqour
