    The Cutscene is not loading for Majesty in the Dark quest when approaching the door to engelwins quarters

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old.     Hello!
    The new DLC ‘The Siege of Paris’-specifically the mission ‘Majesty in the dark’ is my problem. I am unable to continue the mission at the point where you ‘explore the tavern in South Paris to look for Charles the Fat’ I get stuck in the corridore before to enter the room. And nothing happens-the story line does not continue.

    Hi there!

    Sorry to hear this cutscene isn't loading at the moment. Could you let us know if following our xbox one troubleshooting helps?
    Could you also try restarting the game, or the console to see if this remains?

    Thnks for the reply..
    Still same problem. I have probably tried every solution possible. Even changed to a different internet provider in a different location. Almost finished all the side missions and collected all the gear as well. Still the mission line is silent. Advise pls.
    I could send a video of the “problem part” I’m having trouble with.

    @ubi-keo I don't know how to get a url sorry, I tried taking a video on phone. Sorry I'm not very tech savvy. I can describe it to you?

    I open the door to go into his quarters and my character starts moving slow which usually means a cutscene is about to play but it never does. If I leave the hallway the character goes back to normal speed

    I'm sorry to hear you've had trouble sharing a video with us, @Antzatthepub. It would be helpful for the development team to see the issue in-game for further investigation.

    To share a video with us, I'd recommend uploading the footage to a sharing platform (such as YouTube or Google Drive). This will allow you to post a shareable link within this thread we can take a closer look at.

    Could you give this a try for us? You should be able to upload videos to sharing platforms from your phone. You can also capture video directly on the Xbox One console, that you can upload to sharing platforms too!

    I clicked the link but it seems that you haven't made the file shareable, as it's asking me to request access to it from you. Could you possibly update the privacy settings to the closest equivalent to "anyone with the link can view"?

    Awesome, thanks @antzatthepub! I've been able to watch the video now, and see what you mean about Eivor's walk speed reducing as you approach the door.

    Could you possibly share two further images with me - one of your quest log showing the available objectives you have available to you, and another of your map, showing if you have an objective marker anywhere for the quest "Majesty in the Dark"?
