    I update my Valhalla this afternoon and played two new river raid maps, then I log out and turn off my Computer came back later on this evening log in and Valhalla wants to update again WHY! It's the same for Anno 1800 and watch dog legion what is wrong with Ubisoft Connect today? When Valhalla loaded I went to my load games and all my save games reads Data Corrupt saves [censored], and only one game save when I was in Pairs three days ago and now the new river raid maps don't load on the map so I can't start them all those hours wasted today this TU 1.3.1 is bugged with Connect.

    I just shut the computer down again log in Connect and got the same problem Valhalla, Anno 1800, Watch dog Legion, wants to update?

    As shared by my colleague @Ubi-Keo, this issue should now be resolved and you should be able to successfully install TU 1.3.1 without encountering a download loop!

    If you are encountering any further trouble when downloading TU 1.3.1, please don't hesitate to update us within this thread so we can investigate further.

    Got the Paris mission. Started it with no problem. However, every time I leave the game and then come back, it requires me to download the whole thing AGAIN! Which is over 35 minutes for me. This is the third or fourth time this has happened.
    Help? How do I stop it from requiring me to continually download the same update????????????????

    on WDL many users they had the same problem.
    a user has solved by clearing the cache from ubisoft connect

    I've just downloaded the patch 1.3.1 and as I was starting the game this shows up. It also says that the patch note is 1.3.0

    Please help!

    I just lost like a week or maybe more of data because is corrupted? What happened to my manual save? Last valid manual save it says is from August 20... Why on earth will your cloud save delete my latest manual save, this is crazy, I lost gear, gear that I upgraded and not to mentioned, I am not even sure how much opal I lost !
    Can you please provide me with a backup cloud save, or at least, try to deliver the latest valid cloud save.

    Why do you have a damn cloud save service if it will destroy "manual" generated save...

    i had to update the game 3 times today, first at 2 pm cest 26gb update then 2 hours later another 11.8gb update then now UbiConnect had me redoing the first update 26gb and i lost 2 1/2 hours of gameplay and i finished the first river, now i have to redo it all again !!!

    Ok, this is getting weird , now the game went back to 1.3.0 , that explain why my data is corrupted, why the game went to 1.3.0 ? all new content is gone

    Same here. Ubisoft being Ubisoft but I believe that something has to do with the update 1.3.1 but the game launches 1.3.0 for some reason

    @caosck I noticed that too... after I played a Reda quest and my game failed to save, I quit and restarted, only to discover that the previous autosave was before I finished the Reda quest, but I still gained the opals from the last time. It was very odd.

    Hi,

    Since your website unable to submit a case, Facebook player support also not reading my message, basically there's no way I can make my case except post here.

    1.I need help on corrupt data after TU1.3.1 all cloud data turns to ash
    2.Arc of Elan bow was not receive properly

    And apparently I can't attached or send my save file via any channel at all, this is great customer service 🙂

    Same here...
    Yesterday the game patches to 1.3.1 on my PC, i've played around 4 hours.
    Today the game say's there's another update and downloads around 12 GB and loading...1.3.0 with nearly all savegames corrupted.
    Maybe i should try to load one of the savegames dated 1. January 1870 - 1:00 😉
    I leave it alone for the moment, i think the savegames are valid again after the game updated another time to 1.3.1.

    Edit: Seams that my guess is right, i've found a german thread where someone said after a while the game updated itself again and the savegames are available again.

    So, I logged in to Connect this morning and I had an 11.4GB download. I figured 'OK, this is 1.3.1'. Then I quit Connect, started it back up again and lo and behold, another 24.2GB patch was waiting for me.

    What gives? Anyone else got the same? I have the Siege of Paris DLC installed if it makes any difference.

    I've merged together some threads about save data becoming lost / corrupted following the release of TU 1.3.1. I apologise if any ongoing discussion has been disrupted by this merge.

    Thank you for taking the time to share your reports with us. To help us to take a closer look at this, please can you provide us with the following information:

    • Which platform do you play on (PC / PlayStation / Xbox)?
    • Have you been able to successfully update your game to TU 1.3.1? If so, were you able to play any of the game on TU 1.3.1.?
    • Did your game "re-update" after downloading TU 1.3.1 originally?
    • When was your latest save created?
    • Do all of your saves show as corrupted, or only some? If you're able to provide an image showing your corrupted saves, this will be helpful for further investigation.
    • Can you please send us an image that shows your game has TU 1.3.0 installed. You can check this in the bottom right-hand corner of the main game menu.


    Can you also confirm if you were able to access your saves again if your game did update back to TU 1.3.1? Or do your saves still remain corrupted?

    • I have updated my game to 1.3.1 yesterday
    • Yes my game re update after download 1.3.1
    • My lastest save created on 7/9/2021 but that save is my save on new game not >250hrs game. My other save is from 8/8/2021 but that save is my on current game not new game
    • Not all save are corrupted but most are. I deleted the game to reinstall to see if it working again so no picture
    • Its showed 1.3.0. after a second update (before that its 1.3.1) I deleted the game to reinstall to see if it working again so no picture.

    Thanks for sharing your report with us, @quanzaizai. I've notified the dedicated teams so they can take a closer look at what could be causing this roll-back to occur. I've now shared your report with them as part of the ongoing investigation.

    You've mentioned that you plan to reinstall the game. If you do reinstall the game and it still shows as TU 1.3.0 as installed, please can you send us an image, as well as an image of your corrupted saves? We can then pass these along to the dedicated teams.

    We are unable to guarantee that we will be able to recover any lost or corrupted saves however, we are actively investigating the issue and will update this thread when we have more information. In the meantime, I would also recommend against deleting any corrupted saves at this time.

    Did anyone find a solution for this? My game also just updated back to 1.3.0 and I don't have the update now for 1.3.1 even tho I played it yesterday
