    Hi there

    I've had this issue for a while but honestly I've been too lazy to put in a report 😅

    For longer than I can remember, I haven't been able to use the tab button to open the quest log. I've tried changing the key but this doesn't resolve the issue either. I can get into inventory and codex etc. It's just the quest log that doesn't seem to open.

    Apologies if this has been raised! I couldn't see it in the Known Issues or Megathread, or anyone else raising a similar issue.

    Hello there @Momentyne!

    I'm sorry to hear that you're unable to open your quest log when using the tab button. Thanks for taking the time to share your report with us.

    It's definitely odd that you can't use any other key either. Can you let us know if you have any other controllers connected when playing on PC? If so, please can you ensure that only your keyboard and mouse are connected, to help ensure there aren't any conflicting inputs.

    Can you also ensure that your Input Mode is set to "Mouse and Keyboard." You can change this in the "General" section of the Control Settings.

    Additionally, would you be able to send us a video which shows your current control scheme (even if this is default), and how your quest log won't open in-game. I'd recommend uploading any footage to a sharing platform, such as YouTube or Google Drive, as this will allow you to post a shareable link within this thread for us to take a closer look at.

    @ubi-borealis Hiya thanks for coming back so quickly 🙂

    I don't own any other controller so it's definitely just the old mouse and keyboard!

    It's also definitely on mouse and keyboard input (may be shown in the video below!)

It says it's still processing at the moment but hopefully it can be downloaded/works when you view it. I'm not really one for making videos and I don't think I've used Google Drive in several years, so... no clue how to do it all! 😅

    I wasn't sure how I could 'show' a button that isn't working but I tried using tab, then changing it to a box bracket symbol, then pressing all the other log buttons that do work along with the one that doesn't. I hope it helps at least solve the mystery of the unuseable quest log key!

    I apologise for my delayed response, @Momentyne. Thanks for taking the time to capture a video for me! It doesn't look like there are any conflicting inputs there at all, either when you use Tab or switch to the "]" command.

    Hello again @Momentyne!

    The development team have been taking a closer look at your report, and would like to collect some additional information from you.

    The team would like to know if you have disabled your Mini Quest Log Interface. You can check this in "Options > Interface > Mini Quest Log." If you have disabled your Mini Quest Log, please could you enable it to check if this resolves the issue?

    If you're still unable to use TAB to open the Quest Log when the Mini Quest Log Interface has been enabled, please don't hesitate to update us within this thread so we can notify the developers.

    @ubi-borealis Hooray! Enabling it fixed the issue! Thanks so much to you and the developers - it's been driving me mad for ages (but like I said, I'm super lazy about raising things) 😊
