    Hello all.

    I came back to Valhalla after few months of playing older AC games and after previously getting platinum trophy on it. To get back in touch with controls I decided to do Mastery challenges first before starting Siege of Paris DLC.

    However, in Wenlocan Outpost challenges (I believe raven and wolf ones) I accidentally picked up Avenge player quests while looting enemies for health refil. I have no way of completing or removing the quests and they keep popping up across half of my screen every 10 seconds making it very distracting.

    I’d appreciate any help/advice with this since I don’t want to go to days old save and lose all progress on other challenges.

    If it matters I play on my one and only save on PS4 and have the newest update.

    Thank you in advance

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

    Hey there @vanja1004! I'm sorry to hear that you're encountering these frequent notifications, and that you're unable to complete Avenge Quests.

    It sounds like you may be impacted by the issue described in our megathread here; one known possible workaround is to complete the Avenge Quest responsible for the notification, as this will stop the pop-ups.

    You've mentioned that you're unable to complete the Avenge Quests - can you please advise me of why that is? Are you struggling to locate it? Please give me any additional information that you can, and I'll gladly try to look further into this for you. If the issue is just the notifications, I'll merge your thread with the megathread mentioned once this has been confirmed. 🙂

    @ubi-woofer

    Thank you for the reply.

    The quests are appearing on the map and in my quest log. But if I go to the location I can’t find the dead player.

    Since the players mentioned died in the challenge itself the only way they can be found is within said challenge. And once in there I’m not given option to start/complete the quest, just to redo challenges as usual.

    Hope that makes sense, if not I’ll take pictures

    Edit: I’ve read megapost, and I tried all the solutions. Have no problem avenging other players just those in the said challenges. It also happened before latest patch too so not sure it’s caused by that. It’s been few days and I already got medals for other challenges so I still haven’t went back to old save because I’d hate to redo them all.

    @vanja1004 Thank you for further explaining! If you could provide any images or a video from your gameplay that shows these specific avenge quests that you are unable to complete, that would be helpful. You can post videos to YouTube as unlisted and then provide us with the link here.
