    What i mean is that spears are OP in comparison with other weapons. I was forcing myself using all other weapons to find most effective ones and also with the coolest finishing move. No matter what weapon i try, i find dual spears to be like miles better then any other weapons. And i don't speak just about damage, but the overall effectivity. The combat animations with spears are fast like with daggers, but more powerful and can reach longer distance and can also work as semi AOE weapon. Every enemy drops so fast when using spears in comparison when using any other weapons.

    What i would like to suggest is not nerfing spears, but improving all other weapons so that they'd feel same effective as the spears.

    @freestepper I have to agree and I did the same. I ended up returning to dual spears because they are much more efficient than other weapons. As you said, it's akin to having dual daggers but with a longer reach. With other weapons, I'm constantly being interrupted or unable to land blows as efficiently. Why is it that dual spears is not only super fast, but also super powerful? I should be able to do more damage smashing opponents with a hammer! Yet, hammer seems to do less damage and opens you up to more counter attacks vs using a spear. Risk vs reward?!?

    I'm also with you that I'm not advocating nerfing spears, but I AM advocating increasing damage with other weapons! Daggers should have higher damage, they're faster but less effective against long-reaching weapons, there is more RISK vs REWARD. Hammers should deal higher damage- sorry but STUN doesn't help my damage output- especially considering this game specializes in surrounding Eivor with numerous enemies. I want to kill enemies faster, not just stun them so I have to deliver yet another blow to finish them. Not when spears can just outright kill them without having to add an additional blow to finish them off. Any weapon with a shield should also get a buff, because carrying a shield is pretty much a downgrade in damage and more a liability- particularly for those who want to a quick end to battle. I found using a shield just prolonged combat, instead of helping finish enemies faster.

    Further, please SPEED UP combat with 2-handed weapons outside of spears! Right now they are another liability because your swing is so slow, that when surrounded by multiple enemies you are constantly getting nailed by everyone while you slowly swing these weapons around. Or better yet, give us the option to switch gear sets like Odyssey had... give us five gear options so we can switch depending on what type of combat we're engaging in- multiple enemies versus a single enemy.

    @adarklore Exactly. I like to use dual TH swords, because they look cool on the back and it's simply kinda cool dual wield two TH swords. But they are slow and does low damage for being a big TH swords. They should be slow as they are heavy, but should do much higher damage. As you said, it should be risk vs reward. I am slow with two TH swords and thus less mobile and i risk being hit. But when i do successful strike, it should be worth it. Same with scythes. I was looking forward to play with skythes, but they are even worse than TH swords. They are even slower and does low damage as well, while spears are exact opposite. They have everything. They does high damage, they are fast and has long reach. No other weapon has all three benefits.

    Daggers should do higher damage as they suffer from short reach. Hammers are complicated imo. They are blunt, so being a stun weapon is kinda logical, but maybe they should buff their stun damage much more. And i found flail being the worst of all weapons.
