I cannot get past the first cannon battle on the castle walls. I just keep desynching. I've tried with v synch on and off, graphics on full and low and still the same. I also play the series on xbox one and that had no such issue.
I currently play on an i9 9900k with 16gb ram, gigabyte RTX 2080 OC gamers graphics card. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated coz once I can get past this then this game is highly addictive.

    Thanks

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

@urbanfox14 Hey! Sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue with desynching. Can you try verifying your game files to see if it helps:

@urbanfox14 So I know this is a very old topic and perhaps you have gotten past it.
This response is about the desynching. This has NOTHING to do with your refresh on your monitor or your system setup. In this game, you are playing Desmond, who is playing the assassin. The desynch message is referring to Desmond not being able to continue the current Assassin memory AND you have to restart (re-sync) with the assassin's memory to move forward in the story. So when you de-sync, you actually are just restarting. I suspect some of the issue is because of a language barrier.

I will tell you when the game out, computers were much slower than they are today. It is possible to get past that cannon battle, but you must be quick and accurate in your cannon shots to get past. I found your post (and replying) because I WAS stuck where you were, but I kept trying to get past it and I did.

Hey @thevigilant-one - thanks for the message! Good shout - it's worth to remember that in Assassin's Creed series desynchronisation is also an intended feature that represents a discrepancy between the genetic memories and actions for the player. For example, dying or killing innocent characters might cause you to desynchronise from the memory, as it's not something that actually happened to your character during their adventure 😊

@urbanfox14 - feel free to let us know, if you've managed to get past this!

AS always, If you have any further questions, or require further assistance, let us know!
