    As the title says, I'm looking for alternate ways to get those named items. I'm the most interested in "The Gift", which I had with bad rolls and destroyed in my earlier days before realizing that it is a DZ-only item.
    The options, just two or three:

    • Farm the DZ (obvious), especially when the targeted loot is the desired brand or item type
    • Named items caches
    • Rogue agents drops? (not sure)

    My question - if I had it before, is there any chance the item will drop in targeted loot LZ missions or CPs? Same for the Summit farming the brand?

    Thanks

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

    @adrian-11 Named Item Cache

    It's how I got both of my Gift's, plus my Railsplitter, Virginian's, and Orbit's.

    They will not drop in the LZ, as far as I'm aware.

    Thanks.
    I only need The Gift and Shield Splinterer, I have all the other ones... oh, well, I don't the Ferocious Calm, had it but I don't care for it one bit.

    @adrian-11 Shield Splinterer is the reward from the original Hunter's. Once you acquire it, then Cassidy will also sell it [same for Hunter-Killer].

    Somehow I got the Hunter-Killer, and now it's raining with it in any Golan mission.
    The Shield Splinterer eludes me... If I need to do the Hunters to get it, then it will be a while as I have no patience for those spawn chores, or plans to do it.

    @adrian-11 at least the OG ones, outside the Washington Monument spawn, are pretty quick/straightforward. They are not nearly as bad as the convoluted WONY ones.

    Even Washington Monument [you need to salute at certain graves] is far quicker than anything like the Clock Tower, Lion Statues, or Project Windows.

    You could probably do all of them in a few hours. Just do one everytime you happen to be playing after 9pm [in game]. There are a few quick ones you can get done in rapid succession.

    @latenitedelight

    I got the one from the Washington monument by mistake. LOL!
    I think one of the guys in the group knew about it, did the salutes after we cleared the CP, and the hunter showed up. He was mowed down so fast I didn't even realized at the time that it was a Hunter, or anything special. It was just the weird puff of smoke that caught my attention for a few seconds.
    Few weeks later a noticed a mask on the wall and googled what it was.

    I guess I will look into it, maybe I will try the ones with less egregious chores, who knows, perhaps my OCD will kick in and I will have to do all of them eventually 😁
