It changed & now one needs to go thru the red poison while that worthless hound sit on his as* I made it thru the second gate but I can not figure a way thru red poison to the third gate & the hovercraft. No videos I could find. It may be part of the recent update & I am poor at figuring out what what the game wants. I wasted way to much time trying to figure out what the kiddies changed.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

IIRC, once you make it around the second gate you have to open that gate to let the warhound through, there's a button on one side, then wait while it comes through and puts another healing trap down for the last gate.
It sounds like you accidentally hit the 'toggle mission mode' button when picking the difficulty at the start of the mission, so now you're playing the manhunt version of the mission. You can toggle it back if you just want the usual version.

Yep, you are definitely talking about the final manhunt mission. Toggling it back to the normal mode should bring you back to the Tidal Basin you know. Just as described by the_Kettle.

If you nonetheless want to finish the manhunt mission you need to shoot a fuse box if I remember correctly. Right after you need to circumvent the closed gate towards your lefthand side. The fuse box should be directly behind the closed gate. Shoot it and the warhound will come through it and deploy some more healing traps to immunize you once again.

Thanks all, I was fine with the mission, although was not aware of the manhunt. I shot the fuse panel & let that worthless mutt through but it was all red where I was. I was either got wiped or died from the poison. The hound never helped clear a path for me. Maybe one is suppose to kill the enemy first then wait for a clear path. Which ever it is it never happened. I may have to skip the manhunt cause it might be bugged.

I have to admit I truly hate that mission. While the rework of the Tidal Basin map is great, the mechanic with the warhound tossing the heal trap is a pain in the...

You have to carefully watch the dog to see when and where he tosses the traps. You then have to activate them by walking/running over them. As long as they are not yet activated it's pretty hard to see them – so watch carefully for the dog deploying them. Once you activate them they will show that typical green circle and you will become immune for a short amount of time.

Again: I hate hate hate hate that mechanic and when I was playing that mission for the very first time it was so damn hard to a) see the traps and b) find the correct way through the Eclipse virus. So... good luck, agent! I am truly feeling with you right here!

Try to do that with an invisible robodog, or NPCs spawning off-map.
It's the most bugged mission of all.

To say I wasn't fond of that mission would be an understatement. That hound (aka worthless mutt) I doubt works as planned. If it does, well most know UBI has issues. Rather than wait on the mutt, I just took the shortest path with a Scorpio & made it through with a sliver of health. All could ever tell what the mutt did was health refresh before I started the trek. Even the last gate into the final battle I got an intimidate health warning. The final was fairly uneventful. Oh I switched to the regular mission but still got the manhunt version. I defer to the UBI issues --
