    I recently purchased Anno 1800, and have installed all updates as of 28 Sept 2021. Then I began a new game today, where Beryl O'Mara offers an early optional mission named 'Clueless Courier'.

    This delivery mission sends me to a lighthouse near Mullbane to pick-up 10 tons of 'None-Of-Your-Business'. After clicking several times on the lighthouse, I was eventually able to pick the cargo. Unfortunately, once I have the cargo on my flagship, the mission does not show where it is to be delivered. Since Beryl O'Mara has a ship sitting in front of my harbor, I suspected this was the delivery point. Sadly, clicking once beside the ship does nothing. As of 28 Sept 2021, this mission appears bugged.

    It seems dubious that every time somebody reports a problem, complete with details, you ask for a video. I gave you the save file. Have your team run the game from that save file, and it will absolutely benefit them more than any video. Besides, generically asking for a video every time does no good unless you specify what it is you want to see in that video.

    The value of your support is lacking.

    Hey there.

    Requesting a video is standard practice for any game bug reported to us, this is not just limited to Anno 1800. If a video is not provided with an initial bug report it will almost certainly be requested at some point by the team investigating the issue so this is usually requested early on and in general with any bug report we like to provide as much information as possible to the team on as many fronts as possible. In this instance you've described a very specific mission bug so we would require if possible a video demonstrating the issues you've explained to us in your original post. Of course if this isn't something that's possible for you to provide that's perfectly fine we'll explain that to the team, your save file has been downloaded by us and attached in our report to them so thanks for providing that for us in your original post.

    We do apologise for any inconvenience caused by this bug whilst we're investigating this issue further, once we have any updates from the team regarding this or if they request any further information we'll update the thread. Thanks.

    This seems to be one of the most common bugs in Anno 1800, and so there are plenty of people reporting the exact same problem (for many years now). There are even plenty of videos showing the problem, such as:

    .

    After three years of this problem causing issues, it seems clear that Ubi does not care to solve the issue. You simply want us to waste time with videos, so you can respond with empty platitudes.

    You have the save file. You have dozens of reports, all with the same details. You have several videos showing the issue during gameplay. So now actually do something to fix the problem. No response necessary, or desired.

    Hello DasCapitolin, thank you for the video clips.

    Though this issue was reported some time ago, our Anno QA team was never able to reproduce this issue. Without being able to reproduce the issue in the first ourselves, it makes it difficult for us to see what will actually fix it.

    I understand it can be disappointing when a glitched quest can affect your campaign enjoyment and has existed for some time.

    Now we have more information in the form of save files and video clips, our Anno QA team will be able to take a look at this quest again and reopen the investigation with your help.

    Still Bugged, I am playing the Trail this week on the Epic store, like many i assume, i am a big fan of the ANNO games. its a really bad look for an AAA Game that something this wide spread and documented cant be fixed its was reported over three years ago .... seems like this game is not getting the post release support it should do. Buyer beware.

    Hey there @daftgalley1000 , thanks for reaching out about this. I'm sorry to hear you've found this issue to persist, and I can understand your disappointment with this. I'm glad you've reached out!

    Our teams have advised us that, while this issue was fixed, a save file which had already started the quest before the fix we put out in 2019, or started on a map seed prior to the fix in 2019, may still run into issues.

    If you've faced this issue on a brand new save in a newly started game, can you let me know? In that case, please make sure you've verified the game files, and then if it still happens, can you send us your affected save file? Please see this article showing where the save file can be found - once located, the save file can be uploaded to any file sharing service of your choice, and a link to it shared to us here in the forum thread.

    Thanks very much again for this report - let me know if I can clarify these steps. I'll keep an eye out for your response 👀

    I've just had this issue with a fresh save started only a few days ago... my game is fully up-to-date.

    Hello, I just started a new save a little while ago and my mission is bugged. I completed the quest but still have the quest item and it says quest is not completed. What is the option here?

    Is this also the Clueless Courier mission?
