For some unknown reason the game played a cutscene correctly (not stretched as usual with FSR on) but now it's 16:9 not 21:9 as it is set in the settings (native 21:9). Changing the aspect ratio in the menu doesn't fix it.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

Hey @slackbladder100 , thanks for your post about this.

Just to make sure I understand correctly, do you mean that general gameplay always presents black bars on the 21:9 aspect ratio, but cutscenes were correctly at 21:9 - is that right?

We're currently investigating an issue with gameplay in some situations showing black borders at 21:9, but we'd also been separately investigating cutscenes showing black borders at 21:9, so that's most unusual. Fortunately, our team is away of the issues with the 21:9 aspect ratio, and we're looking into it. Sorry for the inconvenience in the meantime - let me know if you've any further thoughts about this.

@ubi-thrupney Hi. Well strangely it happened only once. So I wouldn't worry about it. I think it may have been when I quickly rushed the cutscene and the borders remained. Just a glitch and was fixed by reloading checkpoint.
