When shooting enemies maybe add a little more graphics to the wounds, able to shoot limbs off pending on power of weapon. Explosions near enemies should blow limbs. When an animal Allie bites, like the alligator have it bite enemy in half. When shooting enemy’s or characters in a vehicle, add blood spatter to seats. Water needs little more splash effects. Just more realism. Especially for an “M” rating. Take this with a grain a salt, it’s obviously not needed but it would make it feel more 2021-22 with the new consoles and what not.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

@noonesoriginal It's weird that there's not even blood splatter on the ground from enemies. Yet sometimes blood splatters on walls. Very inconsistent and there's a lack of detail all round.

There's more details in regards to physics and ricochet physics in Far Cry 2. And that game is near 17 years old. Even the fire in that game would change based on wind direction.

In essence this game feels like a Beta build or Early Access title.

Totally agree. Its shocking that a game with this rating does not have dismemberment and good gore. Machete attacks should give the option to take off heads. Heavy weapon attacks should blow off limbs and give realistic bleeding.

Right now it is just another Ubisoft Airsoft Simulator.

@dv20katana They obviously cater the game to children. When the heavy rating contradicts that.

They need to start developing games for the actual audience that likes them. Older gamers like the Far Cry games and always have. They should cater them to mature people who can handle blood and dismemberment. And for those who dislike it. The easy fix equals a toggle on/off option in the game settings menu.

You'd think they'd build more realism/realistic physics into the game's difficulty levels; though considering how difficult the FC 6 "difficult level" is........................maybe they did get the physics right. 🤣 Given the amount of disabled content in FC 5 and 4----makes me wonder what's lurking in 6.

    +1 to the OP!

Our best hope is sadly likely to be that some crew of talented modders does a "Realism Mod" of some sort.

In the meantime everyone's having fun slicing and dicing in Chivalry Medieval Warfare (1st and last panel) and even Ubisoft own Assassins' Creed Valhalla (2nd panel):

So why not in Far Cry series?!
