Recently I started playing WD Legion and while I really like the idea of building my own Dedsec group, that feature is just bare bones in current state.

Other operatives don't help during missions, even when they're nearby, they don't greet each other, they don't talk to each other (other than occasional 5 second talk from time to time in the base).
Instead of focusing so much on online aspects, Ubisoft, how about you'll expand things for singleplayer now?

Add interactions between our operatives. For instance, when operatives see each other on the streets, at least let them greet each other, nod, ANYTHING. When they're in base inactive, set up some small banter between them. For example, we're entering the base and we're seeing two other operatives just sitting on a couch or having a beer while talking about some trivial stuff. Or maybe discussing previous main mission, how it went.

That would honestly add some immersion and it would show that our recruits aren't just empty dolls like they are now.

I would also suggest implementing them for other missions, but I guess that would be too much work. For example, operative we're playing as, has to run away, but she's being chased, so another operative would show up with a gateway vehicle to help her. Things like that. That would also show that they are a group, not just a single individual that can do... everything. That wasn't the point of the game, right? Yet I can manage perfectly fine to do everything with just a generic recruit with no talents whatsoever.

Maybe even some passive bonuses like: "Your driver is racing through the city, focusing on himself some of albion forces. Getting away is easier now." or "Your anarchist is creating a distraction with a protest near your location. Albion forces are split now." There's plenty of opportunities here.

TL:DR, I love the idea of building Dedsec group, but it's just a barebones in current state and I'm honestly amazed it was done in such lazy way. So stop focusing on online mode and add something more than payable cosmetic stuff in SP.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.
