    Game still randomly crashes to desktop after last update. Please fix this or there is no point on playing this game.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source.     Look at my post on page 6 in this thread. Have done the fixes and played today 2 sessions without a crash https://discussions.ubisoft.com/topic/110725/the-division-2-keeps-crashing-on-pc/103?lang=en-US&page=6

    @ubi-orion This is not a guarantee that it not crashes. Had a day later 2 crashes again. Yesterday i remember a post in the old forums from a german guy who restarts his PC after web surfing before he plays and wrote that he has no crashes with that. So i do it like he and had no crash with that.

    EDIT: Have started the game after my lunch break with a new start and no crash. Later after my coffee break i did not a restart and it crashes, so better to restart the PC after web surfing is a good idea 🙂

    Check my CTD thread, its on the first page like this one.

    It will explain everything you experiencing with this issue, there is a reason why you guys can play longer periods after fresh restarts.

    @habugii I give up to restart my PC after web surfing. But have the settings from my post. I think it is luck that the game not freeze and crash to desktop. Today in my 3 sessions i had only 1 crash. I mean. deactivate the fullscreen optimation makes the game not look so good as with, but i can live with that.
    Edit.: Just in my morning session a freeze & crash. I was doing my inventory just before i wanna quit. Thing is, i had now the last 3 crashes when i am in my inventory, hmmm. I look in my inventory before i wanna leave, much loot in it, so i am longer in it. Next sessions i do it when i found the stuff, see if it helps.
