  • Still low framerate with no change when changing options or changing resolution

I am a user using AMD RX6800 graphics card, Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, FHD monitor. From the start of Far Cry 6, the frame rate of the game is kept between 28 and 38 continuously. HD Texture is not used and the recommended option "High" is being used. At first, I thought my computer couldn't handle it, so I lowered the options and lowered the resolution, but the frame is the same no matter which option I change.

It may be a hardware issue, but Watch Dogs Legion and Assassin's Creed Valhalla get over 80 fps, but Far Cry 6 only has lower fps. Turning off 144hz vertical sync or disabling full screen does not change the frame, and referring to the optimization tips known to the community, the frame does not change at all.

30 frames is not an impossible level to play, but it is dissatisfying that the performance of the game is very low even though it exceeds the recommended specifications. What should I do?

One odd thing is, the game gets 70-80 frames during cutscenes (which happens naturally during first person rather than third person, for example talking to an npc).

During a conversation, when I can move freely, I have a smooth experience. However, as soon as the conversation ends and the mission begins, the frame rate suddenly drops to 30. Very angry. It doesn't seem like my computer can't handle it, and it's hard to understand why the low framerate is maintained in real play.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

Hey there @Arthurization . Thanks for reaching out about this issue with those frame rates! I appreciate all of the information shared as well. I recommend running through some basic troubleshooting steps for PC, as these have been shown to help with performance and framerate issues! If they still don't seem to work. Verifying your game files also can help with such issues Would it be possible to get a video clip of what the game looks like for you both in a cutscene, and out of one as well?
