Sorry - Not sure if this is the right spot to post this but a Ubisoft employee suggested I make a forum post. I really really want a chorizo plush added to the merch store!

I like the Far Cry games and all but Chorizo was 100% the reason I pre-ordered the game. I've been in a wheelchair since I've been four years old. Most times in gaming disability is treated as something a character overcomes. An obstacle to be beaten. Often wheelchairs are often seen abandoned in hospitals and used as a creepy aesthetic or they are connected to a character that is viewed as grotesque or incapable of self care.

Chorizo is different. Chorizo is the best little sausage shaped guerilla. Chorizo and his little golden wheelchair are helping me free a country from oppression and slave labor. I know he is only a dog, but Chorizo is what every disabled person in video games should be portrayed as. He charges into battle and no matter how many people kick him in the face he gets right back up to bite their heels so I can pop them with a sniper. His disability isn't something to be beaten or fixed. Chorizo just rolls with what he was given and glams that chair up with gold plating and tire spikes. Again, I know he is only a dog but in his own silent way he portrays the indomitable will that many disabled people have.

I don't wanna sound gushy or sensitive or anything. I don't really mind all that much the way wheelchairs are portrayed in other games. I just like how Chorizo is portrayed. I would really love to see a plush of him added to the store. Aside from everything I said, I really do think the little boi is an extremely marketable character.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.
