It let's you know where all the enemy positions are in a near perfect position. This completely ruins the mechanic of scoping places out with your phone and making a cautious approach. Now it feels like every single outpost, and I even hate to call them outposts to begin with just incentivize you to always run and gun. The days where you could strategize back in Far Cry 3 and 4 isn't there anymore.

Not to mention that the enemy radios are absurdly loud and give away positions. I always know what to expect around a corner, no tension at all.

The game is way too easy. Even if I'm going in high level places with a generic pistol, it amazes me rubber bullet the enemy guns are in this game. Dani is like a chicken with it's head cut off just staring at enemies in point blank range and taking virtually no damage.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

you can turn the mini-map off totally in the HUD options, which will fix a multitude of problems for you.

@deathshot75 This is a problem that many players are aware of now. I hope Ubisoft can add new difficulty to eliminate these effect in the mini-map and give to more than double the enemy and reinforcements in the stronghold, than the more vigilant enemies combination, and let more tanks and helicopters appear on the battlefield.

I don't think they'll fix that in FC6 anymore, but it's definitely something they should get rid of in the next game in the franchise. It totally takes away immersion and makes the game dumb.

@deathshot75 The mini map is just one symptom of the devs trying to turn Far Cry into Destiny.
