Ubisoft Overlay and Division 2/1 - what relies on it?0 Likes/3 Replies/76 ViewsOriginal poster XMdead 144 posts
I am one of the many players that consistently gets crashes in The Division 2 and The Division 1. After extensive troubleshooting I ruled out problems on my end and came across a solution that was reported to work for many - to disable the Ubisoft Overlay in Ubisoft Connect settings.
I just changed that setting (to see if it helps) and when starting the game I got a cryptic message saying that disabling the overlay "could" make some of the game's features "unavailable".
So, for the logical question: What exacty - besides the obvious, the overlay itself, which I've never used - gets disabled when turning it off in Ubisoft Connect's settings?

As far as I'm aware, nothing that affects gameplay. You won't be able to claim any ubisoft connect challenge rewards while in-game, nor use ubisoft chat (in-game chat will still work)
