    I bought the Crew 1 a couple months ago, and it has yet to launch. I bought it here, installed it, and it didnt launch. Retried recently, same issue. I uninstalled and reinstalled, to no effect. Validated the files here on Connect. Still does not launch. I get the popup after hitting play and it just spins the little circle in the upper right corner.

    Launching directly from Connect, have had no such issue with this game or others in the past.

    @celtic_batman Purchased here... where? steam?
    If you're trying to launch it and its stuck once the uplay pop up appears with no text, and its just a picture... make sure uplay, game itself and/or steam (if you have it there) do not have "run as administrator" box checked.
    Running games and clients as admin creates issues like that where it refuses to launch the game.

    Also there is a support page available to deal with technical issues, and is usually faster in response than in this forum.

    Hello, @celtic_batman! I am sorry to hear that you are unable to load the Crew on your PC. To help with this, please give this troubleshooting guide a try along with verifying your game files and running Ubisoft Connect as administrator. If this does not resolve your issues, please create a ticket with our support team with your Msinfo and Dxdiag files to be able to look further into this for you!

    @s5yn3t I run it directly from Connect/UPlay. I do not have it on Steam. I thought I had purchased it directly from the Ubsoft store, but it looks like it was a Humble Bundle store key for UPlay.

    I uninstalled and reinstalled and it claims not to find MSVCP110.dll and MSVCR110.dll now. This is new.

    Please note I played Crew2 for ages, and play ACValhalla frequently with no issues.

    I will pull copies of the MSVC*.dll files noted from other spots (I see it in Anno 2205, for example), to see if that fixes it.

    MSVCP110.dll missing means you lack the necessary Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio, and the only fix for it is to reinstall the game and let it install all the necessary packages.

    Just don't download dll's from the google, thats a good way to catch yourself some malware (tho by the time you see this reply, you've probably done did it anyway ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    What @S5yn3T said above is correct. The game installation should install the required Visual C++ files along with the game so please try a clean installation and it should fix it for you.
