UNSOLVED Money taken after visit to High Clarence H all & Emporium

After visiting either of the above and only viewing 'Items Tab' & rolling dice to see what was available and NOT selecting or making a purchase I found my capital much decreased. Thinking this may be a mistake on my part I tried again but this time I saved the game before visiting the above named and sure enough monies were taken by just viewing and rolling dice. I then re-loaded game to recover my money. I believe this may be a 'bug' of some sort ot perhaps am I doing something wrong.

You have to pay to roll the dice, even if you don't buy anything. Each consecutive roll costs more. The main NPCs charge you 5,000 coins for the first roll, 10,000 for the second, 15,000 for the third etc. I think that Nate is cheaper. This resets to 5,000 after a period of time (a few minutes, maybe somebody knows exactly)
So, yes. If you are clicking that button several times, several thousand coins will disappear. If you hover your mouse over the dice, it will tell you how much it will cost to click it.
