Unsolved update made game completely unplayable

first udapted, then when trying to launch game only get black screen. second when i went to verify update it uninstalled game without asking now its taking absurdly long to reinstall projecting 5-7 days till complete. and its not my internet because i checked and updated other games and they went fast like normal.im absolutely fuming at ubisoft rn.

@trepanze30 Hey! Sorry to hear that you are encountering this issue with launching the game and it starting to reinstall.
This sounds like a possible hard drive issue. Do you have another hard drive to try and install onto to see if it does the same thing? We can then rule out your hard drive.
Some questions to get a clearer picture of the cause of this:
What is your system specs?
What is your Internet Upload and Download speeds?
Is the game installed to your C drive or another drive?
How much space do you have on your hard drive?

@ubi-viral i have 200 gbs of space and my specs are fun i ran it 4k all on max it wasnt till the update

Here are the other two questions again.- How fast is your internet connection? We ask this because it can shed some light on why the download and install is taking so long.
- Is Far Cry 6 installed on the same drive as the launcher you're using to run it? So, for example, if you had Ubisoft Connect (and/or the Epic Games Launcher) installed on your
drive, is Far Cry 6 also installed on the same one, or another drive? We'd like to know this because it can narrow down what the issue might be.
