    10 Minutes waiting for it to check for addons. Now I understand that this might be a network issue so I tried it offline. Same issue. Eventually when it does load and I click on 'continue' again it takes ages to acknowledge that I have done that. Sometimes a cloud save error, sometimes not but an absolute age to wait. In offline mode I have to click 3 or 4 times before it decides to load. If it is offline why the delay? If it is online then sort out your servers, I know it is not my connection. Ubi servers have been terrible for all games ever since the change to Connect.

    It never used to be like this so please change it back. Thanks.

    @spook1234567890 Just adding that I’ve also been experiencing this. The past few weeks I’ve had to clear reserved space and restart my Xbox in order to get it past that screen, which still takes 5 minutes or so. But since the game updated today it is forever stuck on “checking for add-ons” no matter what I do. I’ve been trying for the past 2 hours now — restarting multiple times and waiting 20+ minutes but nothing is working. 😞

    I'm sorry to hear you are both having to wait quite some time for it to check for addons.

    I don't think this should be a connection issue, as it should just be reading what you have installed.

    There's no known issues of this occuring at the moment, so I would suggest to just try a re-installation of the game and any additional content and updates first of all.

    @spook1234567890 I bought the game today on the Microsoft store and am having the same issue. Not able to get pass the checking add on start page.

    will definitely be asking for a refund from Microsoft if this is the case
