    I bought a physical copy of Valhalla on Xbox One yesterday and I download the game but it needs an update but it says that the update isn't available at the moment and to try it later since yesterday. I try a lot of things without success. It pop me the error 0x8b05033. Neither Microsoft or Ubisoft told me that the bug is from them. I don't know what to do.

    Hey there @Habs2711 - welcome to Discussions! I am sorry to hear that you are seeing error code 0x8b05033 when trying to install the necessary game updates for Assassin's Creed Valhalla.

    Can you please provide a screenshot of the error message itself, and advise me of where and when it appears? Does it appear immediately after you select to try and update the game?

    Please give these Xbox One troubleshooting steps a try as well, and let me know if they help. In particular, performing a power cycle of your console may help to clear its cache and hopefully allow the update to be installed.

    I'm having the exact same issue but on Series X.
    After disc installation (which had to be done disconnected from the internet or it wouldn't install at all), the game says it needs an update and immediately after it says "You need this update, but we can't get it right now" with error code '0x8B050033'. This has been going on for multiple days and every day it's the same error.
    In the game's hub on Xbox there are no updates available for the game whatsoever.

    I've tried every troubleshooting tip and contacted Microsoft support, performed power cycles and factory resets, nothing works.
    What can I do to finally start playing this game? MS suggested I contact Ubisoft support, but currently your only line of support seems to be live chat and that is unavailable right now so I don´t know where to go with this issue.

    I have the same problemen with the update. i have tried everything. So is there another solution?
