Same here. I want my [censored] money refunded. This [censored] piece of [censored] company.
@jhemp12 To be fair, including your system specs would have eliminated speculations like this. As it stands, you have not added any further information, so as far as I am concerned you are more interested in making noise than fixing your issue.
If it were up to me, the thread would be locked because there is zero productive discussion going on.
I should point out that I personally visit these forums for no other reason than to help others resolve issues and enjoy the game. I invested some time replying here to give some ideas, and that seems to have been time wasted.
There are more issues resolved on individual players systems a day by people in forums like this versus through Ubisoft support channels. It would be smart to not waste people's time.
BTW, in my own experiences, people with the latest gen CPUs and GPUs do tend to experience issues in new games at a rate much higher than those not adopting leading edge technology. It's not the way it should be, but it is the way it is. There is a lifecycle of technology and how reliable/dependable it is, and new technology always suffers issues.
This fact alone might explain why some are facing this issue and others aren't. If the issue is in fact rooted in drivers or firmwares of latest gen CPU/GPU, that will get resolved much quicker if those experiencing the issues can be cooperative and help gather data which helps narrow it down.
Hey all,
Just a friendly reminder that while posting on these forums, you are expected to have read the forum rules. Inappropriate language and flaming other users will result in deleting posts and warnings/infractions may be given.
@snakefist420 I don't have this problem either, but enough people do for it to be considered "widespread" and that makes it the developers' fault, there is some system configuration they broke with the update, just not ours... And I have AMD too (5800x + 6800xt GPU) so it could be they broke something that affects Intel systems.
Everyone make sure your drivers and BIOS are all up to date - GPU, chipset, network, everything. They probably only test with recent drivers so if they broke an older driver with the update, this might fix you. Check your system BIOS and GPU BIOS too.
Solved
In the folder of the far cry 6, there are two subfolders bin and bin_plus.
Just copy the files of the bin_plus folder to the bin folder and delete or keep the folder the folder bin_plus
Try this!!!
@snakefist420
EVGA RTX 3070 Ultra 2021 - Latest Drivers Installed
Windows 10 Pro - Up to date as per latest patch
Far Cry worked flawlessly until i installed the latest update on the 16/11/2021.
After the update it will not load.
