Same problem, worked fine without today's update. Game won't lauch, it doesnt' start to load up, no game, window nothing. Verified files, and updated nvidia drivers also.

In the update notes, it was written that we can enter the dlc directly, without additional download, they have now updated the game and we cannot enter it.
I wonder if we delete the game completely and download it again, will the problem be solved?

@tuuny_ Unfortunately not. I uninstalled it and installed it again. I also deleted the ubisoft cache, deactivated ubisoft overlay and so on... the problem still exists...

same here, gtx 1080ti (updated windows and nvidia drivers today) as well. crashes after splash screen is shown, no crash reporter, just gone.
