Same thing here. Got an Nvidia driver update and Far cry update at the same time. Game wont launch. Verified game files and nothing. UTTER SHAMBLES.

Have to say this will be my last far cry purchase. Gone are the times of original and inventive content, I've found number 6 to be lacklustre and unimaginative and this issue is the final nail in the coffin for me.

Chipping in - game wont start following update. Fails out right after the splash screen, ad described by everyone else here. Tried all the common fix'.
Admittedly software testing is one of the most lax areas of the industry, most companies are under such pressure to just get an update out there that actual live-fire testing gets skipped. This sucks, I wanted to carry on breezing this game, using nothing more than the starting rifle and the starting Supremo..because all the other supremo's just do bugger all to mix up gameplay and you can beat any enemy with a headshot and AP ammo. The game seriously lacks imagination.

The same. New drivers, Ubi Connect as always can't verify game files, my newest driver's update was today, and even that can't help.

Ubisoft as always making money, making chat unavaible, and even that support can't help you, because problem is yours, not in game at source, which from was updated as in tree. Global problems you need to repair global problems only locally.... Players who give them money weren't necessery...
