    So I’m trying to redownload Valhalla to actually give it a chance and when I first tried, it said that it needed an update of about 65gb. So I confirm that, then it says that I need to make more room so I take off two games that get the free space to 140gb. Then it won’t let me download the game at all, saying that it is having problems. I then delete it and start again, this time waiting until it is downloaded to start the update and when I try, it keeps telling me that it can’t currently and to check back later, and when I do, it still doesn’t work. Anyone know what’s causing this and how to fix it? This is on Xbox One and there is no internet issues if that helps

    I am sorry to hear you are unable to download the game update.
    I would kindly ask you to perform all the basic troubleshooting steps provided in this FAQ and highly likely it will help you to resolve the issue and install the update. However, should the issue still persists, please provide details and screenshots of any error message or code you may have received, and which steps you have already taken to remedy this issue.

    I too have run across the same problem when downloading assassin's Creed Valhalla, the game will fully download and when prompted to start a message says an update is required. I have power down reset power reset and still the same issue .

    @firepower6494 I’ve had the same issue wouldn’t download at all kept saying “Download failed” I disconnected my internet and it downloaded just fine game will launch and everything but the second I plug it in to the internet it says it needs an update but it’s giving me a code saying “this game needs an update but we are unable to retrieve it at this time” any luck? I’ve tried all the trouble shooting

    There is a new update (1.4.1) which will be released later today, can you please see if you can download and install that update.
