    Hello everyone!

We wanted to let you know that we are investigating several issues that might cause Far Cry 6 to crash for players on PC since the Hotfix on November 16. The team is looking into the reports from players that the game is crashing during the launch screen, any loading screens and while taking screenshots. We are also continuing our work on the issue that is causing some players to have a blackscreen when launching the game.
While we’re working on a patch to address these issues as quickly as possible, we also wanted to share some workarounds players have posted that could help:

    • For players using a different keyboard language than ENG (US): We have seen several players confirm that switching their keyboard language to ENG (US) is one way to avoid crashing. We are actively investigating what is causing this issue and why it’s affecting only certain languages.
    • Avoid taking a Screenshot (with F12) while the game is auto saving, or by pressing F12 repeatedly. This seems to reduce the likelihood of a crash while screenshotting.
    • Players that are crashing when fast traveling or during loading screens have reported that going offline in Ubisoft Connect can alleviate the issue for them.

While these workarounds can help avoid crashing, these issues are our highest priority right now and we will keep you posted on our progress and when a new patch is coming. Thank you for your understanding and your patience!

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.
